Experiments from the dice lab!Kaitlin Pierce2021-05-22 | Walk through my experiment in vibratory tumbler polishing my handmade resin dice. Watch until the end for the results breakdown!
Every dice maker HATES sanding and polishing because it takes so long. My usual process takes over 6 hours per set of dice. After hearing about mixed successes from other makers in using a vibratory tumbler for a more hands-off approach to polishing, I decided to join in the quest. This video walks through my initial experimentation and findings using a vibratory tumbler on my dice. I hope that this helps other makers in their quest for easier and maybe even better!

PATIENCEResin Reviews with pros and cons- Dice making without a pressure pot #2Kaitlin Pierce2021-03-06 | When I started making dice, I had trouble finding reviews of resin specifically as regards dice making, and the few that there were all were pressure-pot users. After the huge response to my first video, the top two most requested for next topics were how I make molds and what my thoughts were on resins. The molds video will take a little time, so in the meantime, here is a review of the 5 resins I have used so far. Please note that the views expressed in this video are solely my own and based solely on my own experiences and techniques. I present both the pros and cons for each resin as fairly as I am able. I also wish to disclose for purposes of absolute clarity that after using their products for some time, I became an affiliate for Rockstar Resins, so I do get a small commission from them when someone uses my discount link.
