This basicially is just a 4K Vegas Pro rendering test, since i really wanted to know if my CPU can handle it. The answer is: hm, not really? It was horrible to edit all the clips and it took a LONG time to actually see the clips running smoothly, this is why this video kinda sucks. If i have a better CPU in the near future, i might redo this video with actual timelaps scenes.

Apple Sillicon devices can install and run iOS applications natively. Unfortunately Apple doesn't allow sideloading any .IPA file, so you need a tool to make the game run on these devices. The files are also encrypted, so you need to decrypt all of these files on a jailbroken iOS device first.

VEGAS Pro and 4K are two things that don't particularly like each other, so editing this video was an absolute pain. This is just a short demonstration video showcasing the GTA Console Visuals mod that enhances reflections, bloom, depth of field, and more. I also used Ash_735's Vehicle Pack for IV which improves vehicles by using textures from GTA V and adding new features like random number plates.

The main reason for uploading this video is to demonstrate that classic OpenGL libraries, used for playing DirectX9 games (and earlier) on the newest release of macOS is still possible. You can also play this game using an PlayStation 4 without any issues.
PS: I used a random song from the YouTube Audio Library for this video, so I hope you like it :D"

The soundtrack is from Autobahn Raser: Das Spiel zum Film. A game that i installed again after 15 years.
If you're wondering how i managed to capture PS3 footage with HDCP: I'm using a HDMI splitter that simply fools the console by thinking it's a generic HD TV.

Sliding in GTA III Defintive Edition is a glitch that allows you to run extremely fast, by just switching weapons very quickly. Since no one on this planet will ever be able to smash the 1 and 2 key that fast, I created a simple AutoHotkey script that "presses" these keys repeatedly with a delay of 300 milliseconds.
This glitch will be fixed in Patch 1.02 unfortunaley, the only glitch i actually like in this game but yeah, it's better to patch before people try to make this into a official speedrun :P

..well, with some tweaking of course. The game won't run without any modifications. The main problem is the new Rockstar Games Launcher, which doesn't work with Wine at all. The only way to get GTA V running without its Launcher dependency is to crack the executable. I've used the DVD version to install this game and upgraded it to patch 1.36 which has a working crack that completely removes the Social Club integration. I'm not a big fan of cracking games but that's the only way to get it to work.
Remember, this game doesn't run natively on this Mac. Wine translates all the Windows stuff to Mac and Metal graphics first and then macOS needs to translate ALL OF IT again to M1 ARM and it runs just fine.

DXVK integration on macOS only works with CrossOver for now. It's a paid application (38.00$) but allows you to play almost any new game on macOS! So i think it's worth it and you also support the developers working on Wine.
Questions regarding performance:
I have multiple Hackintosh systems running macOS Big Sur. This one is the slowest of them:
Intel Core i5 3570 (Ivy Bridge)
ASUS AMD Radeon 570 4 GB VRAM
8 GB DDR3 RAM
If you're using a modern Hackintosh system or Macintosh, you will expect much better performance.
The next step is to get hold of a Mac Mini with the new Apple M1 SoC and try out some more games.

I never managed to fully enjoy the stories games on PSP because i couldn't get used to play games on handheld consoles. The PlayStation 2 version was a pure failure, so this mod could finally bring the true experiene to shine. I might do a full walkthrough of Re:LCS on YouTube as a livestream soon.
Let me know if you're intersted to watch it :P
Remember to not disable frame limter on GTA III Trilogy titles, because the game physics are bound to FPS and can cause weird car handling issues and more. I know, i disabled it but i was prepared for the consequences :D

Grand Theft Auto Re: Liberty City Stories (or Re:LCS) is a "Remake" of Liberty City Stories on PC with GTA Vice City engine as its base for better feeling of the game compared to other 3D era GTA engine AND its what original Liberty City Stories game engine based off, Made by Ryadica926 with contributions from the community for you.

How to run x86 games on macOS:
youtube.com/watch?v=2f9vROQJ-9c
Back in 2010 i uploaded a video on this channel where i attemped to play GTA IV: EFLC on my Bootcamp Windows installation using Parallels Desktop. It had a option to convert the real Windows installation to a virtual machine which had all my games, drivers, updates already installed. I was amazed how good EFLC ran on Mac by only using the virtualisation software. Wine wasn't that powerful at the time and IV/EFLC had many problems or didn't even managed to start at all. I've got many comments and PM's regarding this video because they just didn't believe me that it ran that good.
I always wanted to know how good GTA IV/EFLC will run today using the newest version of Wine and with all the macOS "optimisations" and holy shit.. It's much better now :D

If you like to find out how to install Windows games on mac or linux using wine, just look up on YouTube for PlayOnMac tutorials. I'm not going to realease a tutorial video since YT is already full of it :D

I know this video kinda pointless, because it's obvious that you can play games without updates offline, but maybe there are people that just bought an XBOX One a few months ago don't know how this console even works. So before even thinking about download this stupid update, this tutorial should help on how to disable the internet connection and enjoy the soundtrack forever :)
Oh and sorry for typos, i hadn't much time today and i really wanted to release this tutorial :D
