Everything I Use for Learning JapaneseBudget Livakivi2021-08-02 | A lot of people have asked for me to make a video like this, so I decided to make here on the second channel!
Ted talks are a pretty nice resource to mine on YouTube, because very often they have manually created Japanese subs attached to them, and have natural, well articulated speech, and can be fun/educational!

Although, its time to keep on learning!
I mostly tracked accurately enough, but sometimes forget to start the timer, and comes out that I managed to immerse/study/learn Japanese for around 500 hours this summer!

In this episode I'll quickly cover the more important stuff from weeks 2 and 3! The next update is probably going to be on my main channel to wrap up the entire month of June, and then I'll continue with the mini updates in July.

Unfortunately I was really busy this week and couldn't get the ball rolling as well as I hoped, but no worries as its only the beginning. _________________________________________________ Patreon: patreon.com/Livakivi Twitter: twitter.com/Livakivi Discord: discord.com/invite/w6qyB5mpWa Twitch: twitch.tv/Livakivi Main Channel: youtube.com/c/LivakiviAn example day of doing the Japanese Core 2k/6k deck on AnkiBudget Livakivi2021-05-28 | I decided to record myself doing the Core 2k/6k deck for the sake of demonstration, so you could see the pace at which I'm doing my reviews.
My general checklist for reviewing a card: - Try to get the reading correct - Try to get the meaning correct - When its a new card, or when in doubt, check the example sentence - If you only got the meaning or only the reading correct, you need to decide for yourself whether or not you should hit "again" or "good" on the card (based on based on how long is the interval, how likely you are to get it correct the next time, how likely it is that you'll understand the word in immersion with context anyway, etc). This intuition will come naturally over time, so don't worry about it.
I know some people do their reviews differently, for example by reading the example sentence on every review, etc. I don't think the exact method you use really matters, as long as you're gaining benefit from your reviews. I can also try to answer all questions you might have about the Core 2k/6k deck! (As long as I remember to log onto this account)
