The brainchild of Val Browning, the son of John Moses Browning, the two-shot semi-auto short-recoil shotgun is definitely a hoot to shoot.
Stevens Model 70 Visible Loader Firing Demonstration PhoenixPhart 2022-11-17 | Showing off my Stevens Visible Loader in .22 LR. Designed in 1907, these little rifles were built between 1908 and 1933 by Stevens Arms and Savage Arms after the former was purchased in 1920. Not known for its reliability, the little .22 pump action was nicknamed "Miserable Loader". As for why, I think the results speak themselves. Certainly a very neat footnote in the history of repeating arms.

Stoeger Luger, an American made .22LR Luger (with pov) PhoenixPhart 2022-11-11 | Shooting my new (old) Stoeger Luger. Made between 1969 and 1985 in the US, this little blowback pistol looks like it has a toggle, but is a nifty little bolt block to look like one. This particular one sports a more uncommon 5.5" barrel. I downloaded the first mag by a bit due to it being newer and causing a few feeding issues when topped off at 10 rounds.

Rugged Rx Muzzle Brake PhoenixPhart 2022-06-19 | Trying something a little different this time. A demonstration of the Rugged Rx blast diverter/muzzle brake through my Savage Impulse in .308. The device will fit on the .223 muzzle device from Rugged as well so I may do a video of it through the AUG later.So far, my final conclusion is the blast diverter takes the edge off the report at a distance but not by much for .308. Little to no difference to the shooter and those nearby, however. It also increases felt recoil buy a considerable amount. The muzzle brake, however, is the best of both worlds: reducing recoil more than the 3-port brake, and seemingly reducing the report at a distance as well. It also produces a friggin rad fireball too

This particular example was made in 1998 and sports a 12 round capacity, a polygonally rifled barrel, and a 2lb match grade trigger. I'm not the best shot, but I think I did fairly decently at 25 yards with Winchester white box. A wonderful rifle in a wonderful cartridge. I also use the blank fire adapter and shoot surplus blanks. These blanks use a red painted wooden bullet which gets shredded by the blank fire adapter.
