Why only did he fire that developer guy in a rage and not take care to have him immediately escorted out of the building?
Another little step, he slowly approaches the entrance of the developer's lab. He will have made it, when he passes the gate - the drones trying to pass will be immediately deactivated, one of the security features of the lab. Yet one more step, he slowly reaches for the door, when it is suddenly pushed from the outside and smashed against his arm.
"Fuck!" is his last thought, before the swarm decides to start the attack.
