Mike created 'Survive To Freerun', to dedicated it to his son Jayden Wilson, who was diagnosed with a Terminal Brain Tumour over 7 months ago, and was given an average of 12 months to live. He's 4 yrs old.
Mike says,
"Having something to focus on during these difficult times is incredibly important. It helps you to channel all the negative thoughts into something positive. Having someone tell you that your son has a terminal condition, would destroy any parent. But during the time you have with those loved ones, its important to create the most epic memories you can in the space of time you have. Jayden has continued to impress the medical world with his strength and 'get on with it' attitude. He inspires our entire family to continue leading a normal life, and to live it the best you can. Although he is only 4 years old, he surrounds everyone with such positive feelings. Something i will hold on to forever."
Mike hopes this video inspires many other families going through similar circumstances, and to channel all their negative energy into something positive. The way Mike does this, is through the art of Parkour / Free Running and Movement in general. Not only this, but to Direct, Produce and Edit his own video projects, as well as developing incredible productions with 3RUN Media Ltd.
The message in the video is very simple, but so effected -
