This week we dabble with a little fishing. We make a hook using thorns and attach to the line. We even spent some time fishing. I didn't catch it on video, but I had a good fight with a 10 inch perch.

Thorn hooks have been used for thousands of years, and although they aren't as successful as acid dipped, barbed hooks, they are worth trying out.
