Our Tulsa Executive Pastor, Chris Turner, continues week eight of our teaching series, Summer in the Psalms.
Psalm 17 shows us what it looks like to come before God with a fully submitted heart. David doesn’t hide, perform, or manage his image, he brings his whole self to the Lord with honesty, confidence, and trust. Because of Jesus, we can draw near with confidence, not based on our own works, but because Christ has made us innocent. When opposition comes, we can entrust our future to the Lord, knowing that He is our refuge, our defender, and the one we will one day see face to face.
