This was a one way trip from Peka Peka beach to Pukerua bay, just under 30KM in distance. the waves forecast were 0.6m swell, but were definitely bigger by te time they arrived on shore. I had a few splashes to the face on my way out, while my paddle buddy got tipped and had to try again.
The boat is a kevlar/carbon fibre Tasman Express, from QK, paddle is a carbon fibre wing paddle with a crank shaft, and the camera is a Go Pro Hero 4, on a Railblaza camera arm.
