This is a short of my SUPERMAN LIVES - Teaser Trailer | Nicolas Cage Retro Movie Concept if Tim Burton's legendary lost Nicolas Cage Superman film had actually been made — with the dark mythological grandeur and visceral cinematic weight of Zack Snyder's vision layered on top? In the mid to late 1990s, Hollywood came agonizingly close to producing one of the most extraordinary superhero films ever conceived — Tim Burton directing, Nicolas Cage as Superman, Christopher Walken as Brainiac, Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor, Anthony Hopkins as Jor-El, and Jessica Lange and Sam Shepard as the Kents. A cast assembled. Costumes built. Scripts written. Three weeks before cameras rolled — it was gone forever. This concept trailer reimagines Superman Lives as it deserved to exist — Burton's gothic operatic visual poetry meets Snyder's slow motion mythological grandeur — dark, epic, emotionally devastating, and anchored by Nicolas Cage's uniquely alien and deeply human take on the Last Son of Krypton. This is the Superman film we never got. The one that should have existed. The one that still haunts every fan who ever heard its name.
