Good morning energy… and a huge brush.
I went into this painting completely intuitive, using leftover colors, layering greens, yellows, and browns, and just letting the brush lead the way.
At first, it feels a bit all over the place… But then there’s always that moment. Where a few strokes suddenly pull everything together. In this piece, it happened right in the center.
And what looks loose and spontaneous is actually built on something very simple, a small set of brushstrokes that I keep coming back to again and again. Different colors, different compositions, same foundation.
