Dishwasher Shrimp Scampi Recipe:
Ingredients:
½ lb 40/50 count shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 clove garlic, pressed
zest of ½ a lemon
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Pinch of salt and pepper
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large jar. Give the jar a good shake for about 15 seconds, then place into the bottom or top rack of the dishwasher. Run through a regular hot cycle of the dishwasher. When the dishwasher cycle is done, give the jar a gentle shake. Remove the shrimp from the liquid, and serve!
Dishwasher Tomato Herb Couscous Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup couscous
1½ cups chicken stock or broth
½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 clove garlic, pressed
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large mason jar. Give the jar a good shake for about 15 seconds, then place into the top rack of the dishwasher. Run through a regular hot cycle of the dishwasher. When the dishwasher cycle is done, thoroughly shake the jar for 15 seconds, to fluff up the couscous. Serve and enjoy!
