Almost a new hardest! And it was unexpectedly fun, too.
Seriously, I actually enjoyed this level, though it was kinda boring at first when I tried it a while ago and when I was going from 0 the first day of coming back, but on the second day of coming back I got pretty good with the first cube and then level became so much more enjoyable, and managed to get it done day 2 after coming back. It looks awesome on top of that as well, so this ended up being both great to play and to watch, too.
Do I recommend this? Probably not, most people find this level horrible to play and really only appeals to people who like weird ass gameplay and don't mind poor difficulty balancing. You also have to be semi-consistent with the first cube for Sunset Sandstorm to be enjoyable, which is obviously hard to do, and even then, no guarantees you will like playing this level, even if I personally love this level.
Attempts: 12136 (Includes 7716 old 60hz attempts)
Enjoyment: 6/10 (Relatively fun)

I was initially going to wait to reach the swing copter before uploading another PPF progress video but seeing as I havent been playing this level much lately I have decided thats not going to happen for now, so here is my current best normal mode run that I got almost a month ago.

Do you have what it takes to dodge the gas leak?
Well, I gotta say, working on this level and verifying it was a unique experience. Merging the level was one hell of a task not only because of fixing broken colors or the game being not necessarily stable with saving these levels, but the player speed being inconsistent across different framerates far into the level meant some parts behave differently when you compare the individual part and the full level, but thankfully not much had to be fixed in that area.
Verifying this was weird. Since I spent 8.2k attempts just on playtesting the level while merging, I already had a lot of practice in most parts and I also changed a couple things, mostly annoying choke points that degrade the enjoyability of the level. Obviously the slightly over 500 attempts I spent actually verifying felt more like an equivalent to 2-3k on a regular 1-2 minute level.
Youd think this would make the level boring, however I actually found the level pretty darn fun! Almost every single part gets super consistent (I mean it kind of has to be for this kind of level to work lmao), and whenever I died very far, it didnt bother me as much as I expected. That being said, this is still a very, very learny level, so patience is required if you want to beat this level.
Thanks for letting me work on this @EidamGD. As tedious as this was to work on, this was overall a nice experience.

![[Pre P-2] ULTRAKILL - All levels P-rank No Damage (Individually) - Who needs fuel?
All currently available levels P-ranked damageless on violent difficulty. Note that each level was done on a seperate run, the footage is just spliced together to make the transitions between levels more seamless, so you can take this as a sort of demonstrative simulation of a (very VERY sketchy) full game run.
So yeah, Im not sure why I decided to do this. It was painfully obvious that this game was absolutely not made with no damage runs in mind so while some levels - mainly boss levels - were pretty fun to do, levels like 1-3, 3-1, 5-1 were pretty sucky. 5-3 was BY FAR the worst one to do and I had an absolutely awful time with it.
This wasnt an unbearable challenge, but I dont recommend it if you dont have much patience, because youre gonna need to endure a LOT of bs.
A full game damageless in one go is theoretically possible but very improbable due to a large RNG factor, at least with my skill level (which is okay at best). Its going to be even less doable once Act III comes out and I expect that act to be way harder than Act II which was already a large step up in difficulty over Act I.
