Subaru rates the Crosstrek Hybrid at 6.5L/100km (43 MPG) combined, but in real-world driving I averaged 6.3L/100km (45 MPG)—even with winter tires installed. That result came from using EV Mode, maximizing regenerative braking with the paddle shifters, and switching between Sport and Intelligent (SI-Drive) modes to balance performance and efficiency.
