The Middle Way is a convenient shorthand for a number of related views and practices tending towards balance and moderation in early Buddhism. We will consider some of them, as well as other traditions that put forward similar viewpoints. We will also investigate how we might use the middle way as a template to help navigate some of the difficulties of modern living.
