Although I don't believe in perfect levels, this level is as close as one is going to get for me. While the level does have some wacky parts such as both of the buildup parts, this level is the single most satisfying and fun piece of work I've ever beaten. Even if I'm biased because of the game this level is based on, it's still a masterwork. The level's initial balancing issues have been pretty much completely ironed out.
I can't guarantee that everyone will like the long pre-drop however I would still recommend everyone to give the level a shot. Seriously.

I was initially going to wait to reach the swing copter before uploading another PPF progress video but seeing as I havent been playing this level much lately I have decided thats not going to happen for now, so here is my current best normal mode run that I got almost a month ago.

Do you have what it takes to dodge the gas leak?
Well, I gotta say, working on this level and verifying it was a unique experience. Merging the level was one hell of a task not only because of fixing broken colors or the game being not necessarily stable with saving these levels, but the player speed being inconsistent across different framerates far into the level meant some parts behave differently when you compare the individual part and the full level, but thankfully not much had to be fixed in that area.
Verifying this was weird. Since I spent 8.2k attempts just on playtesting the level while merging, I already had a lot of practice in most parts and I also changed a couple things, mostly annoying choke points that degrade the enjoyability of the level. Obviously the slightly over 500 attempts I spent actually verifying felt more like an equivalent to 2-3k on a regular 1-2 minute level.
Youd think this would make the level boring, however I actually found the level pretty darn fun! Almost every single part gets super consistent (I mean it kind of has to be for this kind of level to work lmao), and whenever I died very far, it didnt bother me as much as I expected. That being said, this is still a very, very learny level, so patience is required if you want to beat this level.
Thanks for letting me work on this @EidamGD. As tedious as this was to work on, this was overall a nice experience.
