First time playing Ironman mode. Just finished fighting my war for independence from the Benevolent Interventionists who awoke 100 years ago. I was still in third place. My neighbours, and my rivals, the Avarrian Hierarchy stood in first. This was not just a battle to take the crown. This. Was. Personal.

With this action I stand at the top of my contacts. My fleet and economic power dwarf everyone else. It's just them. Just the Benevolent Interventionists who grasp onto victory with their slight technological and diplomatic lead. Not for much longer. My sights are locked on. I will stand on top of this throne of fallen civilisation.
