While Steins;Gate might be about making it to the Steins Gate world line, the truth is that Rintaro Okarin is put through the test of whether or not the past is worth fixing. Do we not learn from our mistakes. Is it turly worth fixing the past just the break the future? Steins;Gate is about the grueling journey Okabe has to go through, nearly completely isolated from his friends, to find out the answer to that question, to fix a worldline only he knows is "wrong". But can a reality be wrong? Or is he the wrongness because he isn't from that world line?
