Game day in the heat? If alcohol is part of your plans, be careful. Alcohol and extreme heat are a risky mix.

☑️ Alcohol dulls your thirst, so you’re less likely to notice you’re dehydrated.

☑️ You lose fluids faster, especially in the sun.

☑️ It’s harder to notice heat illness until it’s serious.

Stay safe:

✅ Drink a full glass of water before drinking alcohol.

✅ Eat a solid meal.

✅ Take shade/AC breaks every 60–90 minute.

✅ Know heat illness warning signs.

You’re safety and health are most important. Be prepared and make a plan to stay hydrated.
