Today Corvus and I chat about the new F8F-2 Bearcat being added into World of Warplanes
The Bearcat is a Tier 7 Multirole fighter capable of fighting off most opponents with good maneuverability, carries either a 1,000lb bomb or 4 HVAR rockets to help its capping power.
Review in text:
The Bearcat is a new competitor in Tier 7 for the Multirole class.
It competes directly with the P-47N Thunderbolt, F4U-4, and XF4U-6 Corsairs
Its capping power is slightly less than the Corsairs, in exchange for being more maneuverable than them ever so slightly.
It does not have the same capping ability or speed as the Thunderbolt.
Using Mary Lovehart (a special pilot) this plane can one shot most special ground targets with the 1,000lb bomb.
Is the plane a must have?
in my opinion no, its not a must have
it is a fun plane despite that so if you have the time to spend getting it for free, I would highly encourage you to do so.
