Shadow and Witch can both produce amazing builds. But sometimes the grind needed just to have a fun build isn't worth it when you could be playing something else.
The Dark Pact Assassin build was fun for awhile, but now feels about as fun as a fish swimming through a muddy pond. It's fast, but also prone to getting his face kicked in while trying to clear packs. And unfortunately won't get better till 80+
Compared to the Necromancer who has safety in distance, protection with pets, and fantastic damage via Raging Spirits. The Witch has all she needs to kickass now, and plenty of room to grow in the passive tree to grow even more powerful.
