Fallen Firefighter Procession Zach Lundy 2015-08-01 | On April 12, 2015, Steve Ackerman, a volunteer firefighter with Valley Springs Fire & Rescue passed away along with the homeowner, David Smith. The house fire was caused by a vent pipe from the water heater and furnace in Brandon, SD. This video was recorded on April, 19, 2015 in Valley Springs during the funeral. CEFX 6008, NS 7688, UP 6592 Loaded Grain Zach Lundy 2015-05-25 | Had some interesting power bringing in a loaded grain train on Saturday, May 23, 2015. The first locomotive was a former Soo Railroad locomotive. As well as the second helper, a Norfolk Southern, and third locomotive, a Union Pacific Railroad locomotive. As you can see the crossing light's activate, and mostly everyone ignore's the lights and goes right through the crossing; just to the right of this crossing, there is a intersection (18th & Southeastern Ave.).This was a relatively short train compare to their normal loads. BNSF 6517, 8224 Zach Lundy 2015-03-08 | Today, BNSF has redirected some trains up through Sioux Falls area so our train traffic is heavier than normal. Sioux Falls averages about three to four trains daily, however, today we had 12 trains in about 18 hour time span. That also includes, short lines, not all passing trains. They then proceeded to pick up three pipe cars that were near the Falls Park Bridge. 2015 Train Simulator - Works In Progress: Dakota Branch Zach Lundy 2015-02-10 | In this video, you can see the first town I come into is Corson, SD that is just north of Brandon, SD. Then as I pass through on the mainline through Corson then entering Brandon, SD. That is just on the little bend then we are back into the county. Following the line a bit farther down we come into Sioux Falls, SD. The video ends due to only having a ten minute record time with the trail verison. I painted this engine as well as the SW1500 sitting in the gravel pit yard at the beginning of the video. The signals are currently setup incorrect that I was just messing around with and just haven't deleted them yet. BNSF 2800 Blasting Through Snow Zach Lundy 2015-02-02 | BNSF 2800 the local yard crew making their way south through Sioux Falls, SD, then will continue west along the mainline once they get into Canton, SD. This was the first train obviously that went this way since we got the six inches last night plus drifting with some spots up to four feet tall.
