Having a smart mouse trap is actually a really practical idea! The ability to know when a mouse is caught and being able to take care of the mess absolutely beats checking in on it every day. Not to mention if you forget about it, you may have a bit of a mess on your hands. Dome certainly features some unique products and they didn't hold back on this one either.
If you're wondering how to set this up to alert you with SmartThings, there's a SmartApp called "Notify Me When." With that, you can have it send you a text or notification when "motion" is detected.
