TSR - Jivey Talks Tech 2025-09-15 | In this video for TSR - Jivey Talks Tech, James is joined by piano and keyboard player Jamie Brooks for his first ever session behind a real Hammond organ. Not the heavey weight legend that is the B3 or C3 but a "portable" Hammond B200 from around 1980 which James "picked up" recently. The boys use the B200 in 4 different recording set-ups. Direct, via speaker emulation pedals and finally via a restored Sharma (the British Leslie) rotary speaker.
If you are looking for that authentic Hammond sound this could be the way to get it and not have to compromise with virtual instruments or sample libraries.

In this video, the hosts test a vintage keyboard and several guitar effects to create unique sounds. They demonstrate the results using a distortion pedal and reverb pedal, showcasing how classic gear can be enhanced with modern effects. This keyboard sound test showcases a variety of tones.
