When firefighters arrived at the scene of an apartment fire in Indiana, they found a couch on fire. A single active sprinkler was controlling the flames, which allowed firefighters to extinguish the fire with minimal additional water. The automatic sprinklers ultimately saved the life of the resident inside, who was transported to the hospital for treatment.
