Welcome back to spotLights, the preLights interview series that shines a light on cutting edge biological research and the people behind it.
In this Short, we hear from Anubhav Prakash - a postdoctoral researcher currently working in the lab of Sara Wickström at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster, Germany. Here, Anubhav talks about his work performed at Ashoka University and the Tata Institute for Fundamentals Research, both located in India. This study, now available as a preprint, demonstrates how junctional heterogeneity and cell-specific mechanics choreograph the stunning diversity of sensory epithelia.
