Gold is nice, I guess, but what about a neat badge for defeating the triumvirate of King Salmonids? It seems pretty tough, but I'm gonna try. A high-tide start at Inkblot Art Academy is good, unlike my squid-surge jump in to the water. It would have been so cool if I had pulled it off. I make do with delivering a couple of eggs and failing to drag a Maws back to the basket instead. A Flyfish is splatted only to reappear moments later, which is weird, and then a Lid blocks my line to throw a Splat Bomb at it. Never mind. I bring the Lid down, revive a squidmate, and then bring a second Lid down before being splatted by a Flyfish. Maybe my priorities were wrong. I finish the wave splatting a Drizzler and dunking a few eggs, giving us a decent tally but nothing special. With those weapons, it was a good result.
Normal tide next, if a tide at the Academy can be considered 'normal'. And I have the Grizzco Roller, which pretty much means I'll just be running around as much as possible for the wave. But, of course, we're not finished. Here come the Kings. A couple of early boss splats gives me a bunch of eggs to throw at Joe, some of them even hitting, and then it's my turn to be targeted. I drag Joe to Zuna, at the expense of running in to danger, and just about get out of Joe's shadow to be revived, as Joe bites both Zuna and Boros, taking chunks out of them both. I manoeuvre to get out of the way, only to then get cornered and eaten by a Steel Eel. Still, Joe has almost splatted Boros by this point, and the next bite splats them. I just about survive, and start using golden eggs and my Splashdowns to inflict what damage I can to the remaining Kings, and with some concentrated fire, they are both splatted almost at the same time. We did it! I don't know how we did it, but we did it! Can I get a woomy!

Im making sure to ink an escape route wall at the onset of high tide. But I do kinda fall in the water. Whatever will my squidmates think of me? Never mind, I am revived in time to splat the Drizzler landed next to me, and manage to evade a splatting from the Chum, and another after splatting the Steelhead. I run away up the ramp, leaping back down, and jumping away from a Maws. Steel Eels arent a problem, and I save my ink when I see a squidmates hit the remaining Flyfish bin, and focus on eggs instead. A Flipper lands near me, with a Scrapper in support, and I flirt with the water again, this time not submersing myself and just creating eggs. Then its on to a Lid and splatting a Stinger, dropping back down to help stuff the basket in the remaining seconds.
The second wave has the tide go out, so its a rush to the shore. Turf is inked, and the bosses awaited, and I try to get the most out of the Dualie Squelchers. I have to appreciate a squidmate moving out of my way, when I dodge-rolled to be there, understanding the dynamics better than me. A Maws is dodged, a Steel Eel evaded, and a squidmate drops a Splashdown to clear the turf. I ignore the Maws again as I see a Steel Eel appear. I splat that, and consider the Lid nearby, but cant clear the turf to drop it. Back to the basket, but another Stinger has turned up. Two of us go down to splat that and a Steelhead, and returning along a different route lets me drop the Lid. A Big Shot/Stinger combination feels threatening, but a squidmate is dealing with it, so its back to the eggs as the wave comes to a close.
The tide comes back in for the final wave, and the skies go dark. Its only Mudmouths, and we have plenty of Special weapons to waste on them. Being high tide also means we dont have far to go to splat the Mudmouths, or to deliver the eggs. Its almost relaxing, and we dunk a good load of eggs for a good finish to the Run. Woomy!")

Ive been rather attached to my bear ears, so lets see if I can branch out to other animals. And maybe do well in Tower Control? Or maybe ink a bit, drain my tank, then miss my shots on the Splat Dualies until they dodge-roll me in to oblivion. Never mind, lets just super-jump right back in to trouble! I do, as well, but thankfully get out of the way of the Tri-stringer, before splatting them and a squidmate. The Splat Dualies catch up with me then and my fate is sealed, but at least I throw out my Wave Breaker first, which curiously bags me the quad. Nice!
Another super-jump, to the Tower, where I get myself in all sorts of confusion, and am almost glad to be splatted to re-orientate myself. I return slowly, and while the Tower is far ahead, my lagging behind lets me see and splat the Tri-stringer. I look for more targets, trying not to get in to trouble, before disregarding any caution and throwing myself at the Tower, just when the Splat Dualies drop a Splashdown on it. At least I splatted one of the orange team first.
A squidmate takes one for the team as I return, but I get revenge with a nice around-the-corner splat on the Goober. The Splat Dualies cause more problems for me, and thankfully a squidmate splats them, before I go looking for opportunity on the orange side. Again, I get confused, wondering which way to go, whos where, and where did the ledge above me go, before appearing behind the lines still with no idea of anyone is. Maybe my Wave Breaker can find someone. I find the Tower, which is good, and I see the orange inklings returning. I splat one of them, but miss the Tri-stringer badly, and instead of focussing on them give chase to the retreating Goober, which was a mistake.
I find my way on to our ledge and wait for the Tower to present a good target next. That lets me splat the Dualies mid-Splashdown, which feels good, and the splats could have racked up with slightly better aim. Still, my squidmates clean up, and the Tri-stringer sensibly super-jumps away, so we have the Tower to ourselves for a bit. I push forwards to claim some turf, dodging away from the returned Tri-stringer just in time. I scoot away from them to find the Splat Dualies throwing Curling Bombs from a hiding spot, which turns out not to be safe from my Range Blaster. I head back the other way to try my luck, but there are more orange inklings and I dont last long.
I super-jump back safely, run away from Tenta Missiles, and dont notice the Tri-stringer disappearing as I tussle with the Splat Dualies again. Thats a shame about the orange team losing an inkling. It does make for the final thirty seconds being rather less competitive, but I think we had the battle under control all the way up to that point, making it a decent victory all the same. Woomy!")

We lost one of our squad of excellent randos after a failed run, which is a shame, but three of us are sticking together, and weve picked up a new rando. Lets do this! Maws immediately ruins the inking Ive been doing, but she gives me three eggs early. I still dont have the hang of the Devaitator, which isnt surprising, so I toy with a Steelhead before running away and leaving it for a squidmate. The others have been busy, keeping the basket relatively quiet, but a new Stinger makes moving difficult for me as I splat a Fish Finger and go for another at range. I am then booped in to the water by a Cohocks tummy, which is just dandy, and the Stinger a squidmate went to tackle solo stings me again, as I board a Lid. The situation looks a bit desperate, but the last egg we need hits the basket, and one squid remains unsplatted, so its on to the second wave!
We can do better than that awkward first wave, and hopefully having the Sploosh-o-matic for more low-wave action will help. Whatever weapons my squidmates have been given looks to be making a difference too, with the Drizzler, Lid, and Scrapper all being splatted almost instantly. More super efficiency, as more bosses are splatted without my seeing whos doing it, and Im okay with that, unlike my rash decision to swim through some Drizzle. Im revived quickly and head up a Fish Finger, coming back with the eggs and crossing the water to see eggs to collect. A pair of Scrappers line up at the basket too, leaving eggs ready to be dunked, and despite another splatting of our own, we shake off the first wave to hit the half-century in the second. Nice!
The tide remains low, and I have the Snipewriter. I think whoever had this in the previous wave really knew their stuff, so lets hope I can continue. I dont do bad bringing down the Lid early, but I run in to a Scrapper for no reason, twice. A Maws disappears, but never mind, and I escape some danger by riding a Lid, dropping down to splat a new Maws. Eggs are appearing close to the basket, which is good, and bosses are kept under control. I manage not to throw a Wave Breaker, and get myself confused, but I release it eventually, and rather than waiting for a Steelhead I simply splat a Flipper in mid-air. Another Steelhead awaits, a Flyfish is targeted by an Inkstrike, letting me focus on the Steel Eel, and then its last second egg dunking, giving us another decent total.
But were not finished. In comes Boros. An immediate Crab does early damage, as I focus on the first bosses, giving us eggs that I mostly wang in to Boross body. I manage to hit the bomb too, which is good, and some good egg throwing by squidmates brings down a Flyfish and gives us space and time to hit the next bomb in quick succession, inksploding it when it looked sure to be thrown. Another bomb, another inksplosion, and although we have a squidmate down, they are revived, we have more eggs, and Horrorboros is splatted with plenty of time to spare. That all felt quite profreshional. Woomy!")

Some early caution pays off, seeing the Slosher trying to flank us and stopping them. I try to remain cautious, holding back a bit, but not with the Toxic Mist. Thats always helpful. It also drains my ink tank, so Im lucky to have a spot of ink left to splat the Dapple Dualies when they appear in front of me. I get a bit close to the front line, though, and drift back for a moment, repeating that a second time. I get the idea to try a bit of flanking myself, not helped by a lack of stage, and then a lack of Tower coming my way, as the orange team have stopped it. I head back that way to support the Tower directly with some sloshing over the ledge, but not hitting much.
My sloshing gets sloppy when the Splattershot rides the Tower, but I just about splat them and get away. It then looks like Im dealing with a serial Splat Bomber, so I choose another vector, which seems to work. I hop on the Tower just after its cleared to get one splat in front of me, and drop down to get another to clear the Tower in our favour. Hoping the track is clear now, I get the Tower moving again, then have the silly idea to abandon it and get closer to the orange team as they return. I dont last long, and the Tower goes nowhere. That wasnt smart of me.
The turf looks too orange as I come back, so I try to do something about that while avoiding all the ink flying around. I have to get closer to the Tower, but I approach from a new angle, which maybe doesnt get the splats I expect but it keeps the orange team moving. Unfortunately, it seems they like to keep moving, and getting deep in to our turf. I get myself splatted, and have done little about all the orange. I do a little bit about the orange when I get back, once the Tower has been turned around. I also notice a couple of inklings getting too close to our landing zone, but as the Tower is moving forwards I dont get involved, and just wait for them to realise and come to me.
I catch one inkling launching an Inkstrike, just about getting clear of that, a second near the Tower, and a third super-jumping to the Tower. It looks like the situation has been defused, and I relax a bit, looking to close down another Inkstrike-throwing inkling. This time, the Inkstrike obscures my view, which would have shown me them ducking behind cover. Instead, I discover this when they pop back out. So it goes. But now the orange team are back on the Tower, and the turf does not look safe anywhere. I am also by myself. I try to stay out of trouble until help comes, by which point we lose the lead, and then I run in to a Splat Bomb.
The orange team extend their lead, and I assume my squidmates can get things under control, as I take a circuitous route to help with my surprise. But my squidmates dont get things under control. Nor are there inklings hiding in the ink to ambush my paranoid self. So by the time I catch up to the Tower, they are nearly at the goal. I cant help but feel a little responsible. Even so, I also think that I would have just got splatted a couple more times taking them head-on. We have less than a minute to recover the battle, which doesnt seem likely, but Im riding the Tower and sticking to it. Well, Im trying to be sensible about it.
I hop off to get a splat here and there, at least while we are in regulation time, which helps a little. But the Tower retreats as time runs out, and the orange team have saved an Inkstrike for just when they dont want us to be on the Tower, and thats at the end of the battle. Never mind.")

Low tide with the Hydra Splatling! That Stinger is toast. That Drizzle is splatted ink! That Fish Finger doesnt know what hit it! And so on. I collect eggs as my squidmates deal with a Flyfish, as I cant Hydra Splatling that, before taking my frustrations out on some Cohocks. I think maybe I loose a charge too soon as a Steelhead waddles up behind a Steel Eel, but I splat both and a Scrapper. A Flipper is splatted before it flops, and I line up two Lids as I am lifted up by a third. A squidmate hasnt got the memo, though, and splats the first Lid. Thats disappointing, and it happens again. Never mind. We hit quota and make it through to the second wave.
A different splatling, and a different tide. A Maws is easy, and a Fish Finger gives me a platform to splat a Flyfish. I sensibly splat a Snatcher to stop my Splat Bomb being deflected too. Not that I needed to throw another Splat Bomb, but never mind that bit. Then on to two Lids, this time not hampered by a squidmate, A Scrapper gets confused about where it is, and that discombobulates me enough to land in a Maws. After being revived, another Lid lets me finish off a Fish Finger, and stop a Snatcher, and we just about get enough eggs in the basket in the dying seconds to scrape through to the final wave.
There are probably bosses somewhere. Behind the big wall that obscures my view, logically. Thats where the eggs end up too, so we get off to a slow start. But the bosses started wandering up from other directions, and the eggs get a bit closer to the basket. I move on from the central column to bring down a Lid, happy a Steel Eel is ignoring me, dropping down to splat that afterwards. We need eggs, and Cohocks are around them, so I pull out a B-bomb and, after some thought, just clear the turf around the collection of eggs. A second B-bomb helps to stop the Flyfish missiles and refills my ink tank, but everyones pulling together and we scrape through the final wave too.
But its not over, as Joe appears! Joe aims for me first, so I aim for the first bosses, getting close, but also cornered. So it goes. At least there are eggs around when Im revived, one of which hits the red spot. Trying to grab another eggs puts me close to Joes lunge, and a Smallfry splats me when trying to keep me there. This could be going better. I run away to splat bosses and get eggs, a Scrapper stopping me splatting a Steelhead, but the jokes on them, as Joe tries to bite me and splats them all. Its a good result! I just go for body shots with the eggs, which is better than nothing, but I still get panned in to the water, far from my squidmates, who have just hit the red spot for some good damage. Maybe its best to leave things to them, but they revive me and I get a couple of good hits in. Or maybe one. Still, Joe is splatted, and with a little time remaining. Woomy!")

The S-blast will do, I suppose. Not for inking the walls. Look how rubbish it is! Still, it hits some bosses quite hard, I guess, as a couple of early Steelheads find out. Im also trying to boost my egg count, as its been in single digits a few times recently, which really isnt like me. But my squidmates are quite keen to get the eggs too, and I am left grabbing ink instead of a stray egg. Splatting bosses is good too, though, and I am happy to take care of a Fish Finger, and turn around to hit a Drizzler missile back the way it came. That Steelhead I missed earlier is still around, so I ignore a new Fish Finger to finally splat it, then hit the trumpeters. I also have a Scrapper waiting, and a squidmate to revive, but after that I focus on eggs. We still have time in the wave, though, and a Drizzler is ripe for splatting, before mopping up the final eggs laying around.
A decent first wave leads in to a second going to low tide. More walls to ink, but easier with the Splattershot, before I drop down a Lid perhaps a little earlier than my squidmates appreciate. Never mind, I bring an egg back, splat a Drizzler from long distance, and clear a little room to splat one bin of a Flyfish. Back across the water for a Lid, some eggs, and reviving a squidmate. Then more eggs. I help with a Steelhead and revive a squidmate who hit the drink, and we both move down to splat a Stinger. I leave them to splat the Fish Finger, but I think they struggle with it, as I am bogged down in gunk as I dodge a Big Shots shot and a Maws, but I survive and get back to the basket. Another Fish Finger awaits, so I head up it, eventually, if only to stay safe. I throw my egg in to the basket, then splat it, to finish the wave.
The final wave gives us Glowflies, and me the Splat Charger. Ill focus on the Goldies, even though one hit doesnt splat them, and rely on my squidmates to splat most of the Chum. There is a brief moment where it looks like we will all get splatted, but we pull through, and sensibly use our Special weapons rather than assume well be okay without them. My squidmates do well to splat the Goldies near the basket too, so that we dont have to worry about quota, and indeed surpass it rather healthily. And although my egg tally is below the others, I think it was that last wave where the greatest imbalance was felt. I did pretty good overall. Woomy!")

I get some height just to feel a bit safe. I cant even reach across the Splat Zones from up here. But I can see someone hiding. I keep them hiding, and miss them by miles when they pop out, but its okay. Theyre not going to surprise a squidmate. I have to get closer to the turf, so drop back down and keep the Splat Zones inked, if not the green team. Running from Tenta Missiles has the Splat Zones unguarded, but I return to throw a Splat Bomb at an enemy drinks dispenser, getting one splat as I hit my first shot. Nice!
I run out of ink and we lose the lead. These incidents might be related. I catch an inkling maybe trying to bridge the gap to me, and deter another trying the same thing. Theyre followed by a squid that doesnt know Im aiming there, which is unfortunate for them, but then I switch locations, just to keep things fluid. I find another splat, from a tight angle, and my squidmates not only bag more splats but turn the Splat Zones pink again. I see the Flingza Roller coming down the side, but sadly miss a couple of shots. That doesnt come back to haunt me as much as a Kraken does, leaping to me and avoiding my Ink Vac.
The .96 Gal that splatted me continues to make a nuisance of themselves in our turf, while the Splat Zones turn green one point away from us stealing the lead back. And the .96 Gal may be gone, but the Heavy Edit Splatling has taken their place, and is getting some height to flummox us. Thankfully, I have the range, and the aim, to stop them. I tidy up a bit, only to encounter the Kraken again. I manage to run away, and they chase a squidmate, so after a bit of playing with the Heavy Edit Splatling, its back to inking the Splat Zones.
I hide from Tenta Missiles, throw a Splat Bomb that gets eaten by a Kraken, and manage a nice reaction shot on the retreating .96 Gal, now back in squid form. I miss a couple more shots, as the Splat Zones turn green again, and keep running out of ink. At least I have recovered some when the .96 Gal comes for me again. Their Splash Wall bouncing to the turf wont protect them. I miss the Flinzga Roller a couple of times, but their simple rolling is easy for my squidmates to punish, and our score continues to tick over nicely.
The green team throw ink over the Splat Zones, which we cover easily enough. I spot some activity to the left, and Im pretty sure the Flingza Roller has moved almost behind me. The Kraken is a concern too, but they are too far from me for the moment, and the Roller appears and just rolls through the Splat Zones again, ripe for a splatting. The Kraken is coming for me, though, and thankfully a punch on the nose is enough to keep them away. My new Ink Vac is more effective for being better aimed, helping squidmates get a double splat, and keeping the Splat Zones clear. That not only helps us steal the lead, but keep the Splat Zones pink until we secure the knockout victory. Woomy!")

My Suction Bomb doesnt hit the approaching Tower, but then not much of what I do hits anything for a while, and when I do hit things they are but glancing blows. The Tenta Brolly gives me an opportunity to reflect on my aim, and I return to aim the wrong side of the Tower twice. Never mind, at least I hit a shot when it matters, as the Splatana Stamper is coming for me. They get me back soon enough, as I am focussed on the Tenta Brolly, so I think it evens out.
I return with a little caution, but happy to see not much happening around me, and I launch at the Tower and make some shots this time. I hop on to the Tower briefly, but having the lead already I hop off again and hit the flank to try to get some splats and some quiet time. The Stamper is splatted nicely, I get a good direct blast at someone jumping straight at a Crab of ours, but the Tenta Brolly splat is all mine, and helped by coming up the side.
I get back on the Tower and watch out for trouble, which is much easier to spot when the trouble is the Stamper or Wellstring. A quick sortie off the Tower helps my squidmates splat them both, leaving only the Tenta Brolly as a threat. And a credible threat too. I sensibly run away, a squidmate splatting the brolly from behind, and then its back on the Tower. I employ the same tactic as the Splash-o-matic rains ink on me, but I return to the Tower a trifle early, while the Wellstring is still firing. So it goes.
My squidmates are splatted too, so we lose our position, but we keep our huge lead. Im the first to return, so I try to take it easy, which is helped by the Stamper being really obvious coming down the flank. The other inklings are harder to deal with, not helped by one being in a Crab and another using an Ink Vac. I have to choose a different route, which is to sacrifice a bit of Tower time by going around the back. It puts me out of action for a bit, but so to the Tenta Brolly, relieving some pressure off my squidmates. They retake the Tower, I splat the brolly, and were moving forwards again.
Our new push stalls early, but we still have the lead so it doesnt really matter. Its better to leave the Tower and let the other team work for their splats. I hold back, and help out our Hydra Splatling being harassed by the Stamper, who I splat mid-Zipcaster. I rejoin the Tower, now in front of me, and keep it moving as my squidmates go skirmishing. One ahead gets splatted, so I jump off the Tower to avenge them, and try to splat the Wellstring too, so the Tower is left in peace. That doesnt work out, but leaving a Wave Breaker for them splats the Splash-o-matic back at the Tower, which is nice.
Our lead is extended as the battle for the Tower heats up, and although we dont hit the goal, and lose the Tower to the other team seconds before the battle ends, we remain in a strong position as we enter overtime. I try not to do anything stupid, and decide to go down the flank to hit the Tower from the side. The Tenta Brolly sees me and splats me in one solid shot, which undercuts my idea not to do anything stupid. But maybe getting the brolly off the Tower helped. Or maybe it didnt. Either way, my squidmates clear the Tower and secure the victory seconds later. Woomy!")

My Suction Bomb splats someone by accident, but Ill take it. My shots against the Brolly dont get a splat, but an assist is fine too. Not a bad start to the battle, bolstered by splatting another blue inkling eager to push the Tower forwards. I dodge their Suction Bomb and think twice about riding the Tower myself, what with the Squiffer watching over it. I hide for a bit, poke whoever is throwing bombs from the covered ledge, and run from the Squiffer again, grabbing a drink as I do. My Wave Breaker might help uncover some inklings, and I dash forwards to find them, only to run in to a Chicken. That was a bit silly, but I see who is being dull and throwing the bombs now.
I head back a little cautiously, but it looks clear, so I start probing with some blasts. I find some inklings, if not splats, but we have some good turf control, so I scoot around and clear the ledge where the Chickens are being thrown from. A twofer is a good result! I follow-up by stopping the Tower, and then riding it a little way forwards. I want to catch the Squiffer landing their Zipcaster, which I do, and run away from more attention for the moment. Im happy to hold back and look for opportunity, and the bomber is back to bombing, so I try to flush them out, before moving on to support the Tower a little more directly.
I pause the Tower, but only briefly, choosing instead to give chase to the Squiffer, who I splat nicely. Another go at riding the Tower works less well, as I miss my shots quite badly, unlike the Hero Shot Replica. Weve got a decent lead, though. I take the long way back, and lurk behind the lines for now, happily getting a lucky hit on the Brolly behind us. Going back to help the Tower only gets me splatted again by the Hero Shot Replica anyway. I stick to being defensive, our lead greatly helping us out in that regard, as the blue team need to ride the Tower more than we do. That doesnt mean I can waste Wave Breakers by throwing the in to the Towers path, but never mind.
As the Tower retreats, I move up to keep it moving forwards. Its a little peaceful too, helped by a Bubble placed by our Roller. Once its gone, then the blue ink starts flying in again. If that werent enough, in trying to get away, I end up landing on a Chicken. But were in to the final thirty seconds of the battle, and the blue team have a long way to go. I splat one inkling off the Tower, but miss another, and am splatted away by the Hero Shot Replica. Thats not a big deal, as theyre not on the Tower, unlike my squidmates. I dash back to battle, splatting the Brolly on my way, but my squidmates have circumstances under control, securing the Tower and the victory. Woomy!")

High tide at Sockeye Station. Not a problem. Even with the Steelhead protected by two intertwining Steel Eels, I hold the Nautiluss charge, hop on to the ledge, and help splat all three. I help with a Lid thats dropped to the turf, and some Chum, before focussing on a new direction, bringing down a Lid and making a Drizzler pretty inky. A quick stop at the basket for a Scrapper, then its on to another Lid across the way, with a splatted squidmate beneath. I dunk an egg or two and get a bit wet from some Drizzle, before waiting for two more Steel Eels to split, and heading up the wall to splat a Flyfish. A Snatcher wanders past with some eggs, so I splat them too, then focus on putting eggs in the basket. I get a bit greedy, and surrounded by Cohocks, which along with a couple of other splattings puts the run in jeopardy, but were okay, were okay.
I ink a few gunked-up walls to start the second wave, as my squidmates rather more sensibly splat a Big Shot. My efficiency stays low until I spot bosses appearing from the opposite shore, and head across to, well, slowly splat a Stinger with my Squiffer. But I do it, and splat half a Flyfish on my way back to the basket, where I splat a Flipper. I head up the column, pausing to redirect a Drizzler missile, and sticking around to try to send it back to the Drizzler. I leave a Flyfish to our squidmate with the Explosher and focus on the Steelheads. And a new Stinger, where the old one was. I just about avoid a Scrapper on my way out, and get back to the basket, before catching a ride with a new friend. Or I thought he was, before I was dropped in to the water.
The tide goes out completely for the final wave, and I have the Explosher. Bring on the Flyfish! Hey, theres one! And theyre splatted. Other bosses dont interest me as much at the moment, but Ive got to show willing, so I hit the Steelhead and Stinger, and then another Flyfish appears! I have to splat a Steelhead out of the way, but I guess that helps, and a Maws is nibbling at my toes, and doesnt go away until theyre splatted. A couple of Stingers could cause problems, so I head around the side to try to get to them past all the Chum, only for a good Inkstrike to splat them. Never mind, I make my way back, bumped by a Scrapper, and pull out a Dolphin to slide under a Lid, splat it as it drops, and revive a squidmate in the same slick move. With that done, its time to once more focus on eggs. One squidmate decides the just-surviving Stinger needs splatting, and I kinda agree with them, but their diligence lets me focus on eggs. We hit a decent tally for the wave, and finish a pretty good run. Woomy!")

I stick a bit, but not to worry. Lets keep going, to the Tower and peek over. It doesnt look very safe, so I turn back, chased by the Splattershot, who I just about manage to splat before they get me. That still leaves me in peril, so I run away and head up the wall, where I think about waiting until I get a good shot. That would just give the yellow team a bigger lead, so I reveal myself and try to clear the Tower whilst avoiding the Explosher. That doesnt seem to work, so I focus on the Explosher, getting inky but also getting the splat, and my squidmates deal with the Tower. That worked.
The Dread Wringer is somewhere, but I ignore them and push forwards, where I see the E-litre 4K. They see me too, right in their sights. I super-jump to the Tower, which is moving forwards nicely. Or it was, as I land in a flurry of yellow ink, and were pretty much wiped out. I head around the back and up the wall again, where I fail to clear the Tower again, and this time pop over to aim for the E-litre 4K. Its a good choice, as the Explosher uses their Splashdown. But I get the splat on the charger.
I take the low route next. Its a struggle to get up the wall, with it not quite being inked fully, but the slow timing works in my favour. By the time I pop up, a Splashdown has been used and a Trizooka is slowing down another inkling. I splat them, leaving me faced with the Explosher, who cant aim down as well as I can aim up. Thats a collective Wipeout, so its back on the Tower to push for the lead. The yellow team are returning, though, so I hop off and anticipate wall-squidders. The Dread Wringer is one, who unwisely tries a second time without changing anything.
A squidmates on the Tower, so I keep my forward position. Then theyre splatted. Never mind. I throw a Wave Breaker, which lets me see a wall-squidder, and I splat the Explosher coming up the wall too before I hop back on the Tower. My Wave Breaker claims another splat as I get on, which is nice, leaving just the E-litre 4K to ruin my ride. I can hear them, but I cant no, there they are. I keep hidden, as best I can, but the other yellow inklings make it difficult. I hop on and off, trying to keep safe, and with the help of my squidmates we get another breather to ride the Tower. Finally, we steal the lead. Thats worth a mini-celebration.
Our lead extends as the yellow team return. I jump forwards to use my range, hitting the Explosher nicely, and with a slightly better shot could have splatted the E-litre 4K too. I super-jump half-way back, and slink down the building, where I have a good shot on the E-litre 4K. The Explosher jumps in the way, and then Im overwhelmed. I dont think it was worth it. Another super-jump, but only to hide from a Trizooka on landing. I poke out to try to get a splat, but the E-litre 4K has got in to a good position, and is charged. So it goes.
Under a minute left in the battle, and our position is strong. I head down the side to pop up behind the yellow team, which works in effect but only because of my squidmates getting the splats. I was just spinning and shooting, like a Sprinkler, and getting the same number of splats as one. I re-orientate myself soon enough and get back to splatting, and kinda chase the Explosher a little too hard. I doubt they appreciate, but it keeps me busy for the final few seconds, and keeps them away from the Tower, helping secure our victory. Woomy!")
