Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, director of the films I Am Not a Hipster, Short Term 12, The Glass Castle, Just Mercy, and Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings previously, plus episodes of "American Born Chinese" series.
The screenplay is written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers; based on the Marvel comic book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Produced by Avi Arad, Louis D'Esposito, Rachel O'Connor, Amy Pascal, Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige. Sony Pictures will debut Destin Daniel Cretton's Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie in theaters worldwide starting July 31st, 2026.
