A few days ago, I've read a book about memo techniques ("Superhirn - Gedächtnistraining mit einem Weltmeister") by Boris Nikolai Konrad.
In this book, he has also talked about "speedcards". It's an event in which you have to memorize a shuffled deck of 52 cards as fast as possible. After memorization, you have to call each card in the right order or you have to bring another ordered deck in the same order like the shuffled one.
I was very interested in it, so I tried it myself... And it works! This is my 4th attempt and my first success! :)
I think, with a little bit more practise, I'll easily get sub 10.

Its been almost a year! My last competition took place in April 2018... And thats nearly the same time when I did my last big cubing practice session. Thats why I had no hope for any official improvements, but I didnt perform too bad and I also got one new singe PB... In Square-1. A discipline which I never practice and where luck is a huge factor in my solves. :D

Inspired by @thelucascube. For Real Mans 3x3, you have to do an Average of 5 including the time for scrambling and inspecting.

Yesterday I competed at the 7th Weser Cup 2019 in Höxter, in preparation for the German Nationals in March and the World Championships in April. :)
Again pretty solid individual times like the last tournaments, but not enough yet to reach my goal of this season. But theres another chance in Speichersdorf in one month :)

I solved my Rubiks Cube ordinary in 34.74 seconds.
1. 33.02 sec.

In this solves, I use the Beginner-Method (Layer-By-Layer). These solves arent my best ones, but I had to make an Average of 5 (3x3x3) for a challenge in a German Speedcubing Bulletin Board - so I thought I use the occasion to get these solves on video.
