#TBT Exactly 10 years ago, I gave this speech to the California Republican Party. Instead of applause lines, I came with a warning - but also with hope.
I'm proud that Republican leaders like Assemblyman Chad Mayes and some of his colleagues are moving in the right direction, and they give me hope today. I am concerned that the party itself seems stuck in reverse, continuing to lose voters. It's time to kick it into gear and head toward the future and the big tent Reagan envisioned.
