Worth It or Worthless?
A quick sound demo of an EVH Wolfgang through the Spark 2 using Spark Link. While it may not quite cut it for a real "gig" environment or keep up with a full band, it covers the role of a "practice" amp in spades. The sounds are pretty decent, and the app allows you to create and play along to your own loops or use an AI band to create your backing track. I'm not impressed with the AI.
One of the best things about the app is that it integrates with YouTube, allowing you to play along with any style of backing track or song demo you want. It also allows you to control your volume if you are in a noise-restricted environment. Oh, and did I mention it's also a Bluetooth speaker?
It has upped my guitar game, providing the practice tool I never knew I needed. After 3-4 months, I can easily see an improvement in every aspect of my playing.
