Heads Up (Listen Up)' South Souldiers feat. Sugar Brown & Noel McKoy.
Urban Concepts have devised the 'Don't Trigger Campaign' in the hope that it will be the first of many flag-bearing flagship projects that will unite against gun crime.
Our original remit was to stigmatise gun crime as a shameful national disgrace, using music and the youth to carry the message. One year later we have finally been able to get this project off the ground - thanks to all those who have supported our endeavours, working on this campaign has changed our lives, in particular working with Mothers Against Guns who have shown unwavering courage recounting the losses of their loved ones as part of the Why CD.
We know this has been a painful experience and we hope your suffering will not be in vain.
We dedicate the campaign to all victims of gun crime and to the parents and relatives who have to suffer the final consequence, a consequence that is irreversible. We implore all those in positions of power to promote and support this campaign with enthusiasm and sincerity.
We would like to thank all artists, producers, and writers who have contributed to the campaign and we appreciate your willingness to work within such a restricted remit.
