This piece is a tacked-together recreation of the "Land of the Sky," also known as the "South Island Theme" from the Sonic the Hedgehog animated OVA.

This tune has always intrigued me, but it plays so briefly in the movie, and with sound effects and dialogue over it, that it makes it hard to enjoy and even fully hear the tune. It's pretty much impossible to find on the internet as well, with only some crude re-edits that try to piece the song into a full length version. (well, at least at the time of creating this. I'm finding better versions now. Go figure.)

It's certainly not perfect, but I based it off of what bits of the music I could decipher while watching the movie. I intended to tailor this piece to sound more like a Sonic CD tune, since the OVA is more loosely based off of Sonic CD than any one particular other Sonic game. The tempo is increased a bit to make it feel a little more like in-game level music.
