This week Sony has been making some moves with a PS5 UI refresh, removing more shovelware from the PS Store, and planning a new State of Play for next week! Thats at least what the rumors imply. Speaking of which, we have a lot of rumors for the PS6 handheld yet again. Evidence of Power Saver mode really being that compatibility layer? And then new SDK features which could help PS5 (and PS6) file sizes? Interesting.. This week we also got some sales data from Japan and yeah, those new prices are really hurting the console. We also have an Uncharted 5 rumor, a breakthrough in PS3 emulation, and Sony scanning people into games. Thats if youre lucky though. Do you have an authentic love for PlayStation? This week we had Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, massive GTA VI details & extended gameplay, and PlayStation doubling down on PS5 exclusivity? Like full exclusivity! Only on PS5 branding in full force. And yet, we still have weird situations like Sony emailing people their Terms of Service, remind them they dont own their digital games. And they also broke the PS3 PlayStation Store! As if it wasnt hard enough to transact on the story, now the search bar doesnt work. And yesterday Sony finally revealed the long rumored Horizon multiplayer co-op game! Its called Horizon Hunters Gathering and its a 3 player co-op game for PS5 and PC, and weve got all the details.
