It's an entry hack made by Undying Star for the (now ended) Sonic Hacking Contest of 2025.

Oh, man, another AWESOME SMB1 Hack? Wow! This one MAY be one of the best hacks so far, and I say MAY because even if it has nice features for a Mario 1 game, they are present in many of their sequels in one way or another... I think? Oh, also, this is a demo so... Yeah, its not complete.
Want to play it? Well TOO BAD because theres no download link for an IPS patch. At least not yet. The hack is out there, so its something. Try your favorite search engine, feel lucky and all that BS, and eventually youll get it. Thats what I did... more or less...
And if you ever find it, and also are a VirtuaNES user, let me tell you that this hack isnt compatible with that emulator. I tried it on the latest version available and it just doesnt work.")
