Turns out you can get really awesome tones out of freeware!
Check out my other videos for tutorials on how to get this sort of tone out of your guitars!
In the mean time, enjoy this short video I put together demonstrating some of the best VST plug-ins working their magic!
Download this package to get all the plug-ins used on this video:

Note: I also used some built in plug-ins that came with Cubase 6 including equalizers and compression to polish the tone that cannot be included in the download. Drums are Addictive Drums 1.0 (preset also can be found in the package).
