This was shot from Akureyri in North Iceland when the sun was on it's annual trajectory by the mouth of the fjord Eyjafjörður in late June and wow how frustrated i was when i noticed all the sensor dust, so that's why i didn't upload this earlier. But i liked the outcome despite the dust defects so i kept the file and and when i had the right software, i fixed because i like long uninterrupted scenes when mother nature takes care of the script, and even adds a few visual treats like this time, but the birds and whales helped as well. The backdrop is the old herring factory in Hjalteyri some 19km away from where i was shooting this with a 500mm zoom lens.
