The surgeon begins by positioning the patient in a beach‑chair setup, ensuring optimal access to the posterior shoulder. A key highlight of this procedure is its ability to tension the posterior band of the inferior glenohumeral ligament in a controlled, predictable manner. Because the anchors are placed 2 mm apart directly onto the glenoid face, the technique creates a strong, low‑profile posterior bumper that improves joint stability. The small‑diameter all‑suture anchors allow the surgeon to position multiple fixation points with minimal cartilage disruption. This results in a highly anatomical repair with improved tissue adaptation and restoration of the native capsulolabral contour.

The video concludes by demonstrating the final construct: five Knotless FiberTak® anchors precisely placed up the posterior glenoid, all passed using the lasso‑first technique to avoid tangling and ensure smooth tensioning.
