This community celebration brought together trainers of all levels to enjoy the global rollout of the GO Wild Area event, featuring boosted Dark and Fairy spawns, exclusive raid bosses, and new event mechanics tied to the Gigantamax and Mighty Pokémon features.
🔥 Darkrai Raids All Day
One of the highlights was taking down Darkrai in raid after raid. With boosted Shadow content happening globally, Denver’s community showed up strong with full lobbies across the park and surrounding areas. I’ll break down the best raid counters we used, our shiny luck, and how the raid rotation looked throughout the day.
💥 Gigantamax Grimmsnarl Raids
Another major feature was the arrival of Gigantamax Grimmsnarl. We battled this giant Dark/Fairy powerhouse repeatedly, hunting for the 100% IV, snagging bonus Candy XL with the right Megas, and sharing the hype as trainers caught their best rolls of the day.
⚔️ Mighty Pokémon Hunts
Mighty Pokémon encounters added another layer of excitement during the event. We spent time chasing down these boosted, high-level spawns, stacking Stardust, XP, and shiny chances while showing how to optimize Adventure Effects and Mega bonuses for the event’s featured types.
