Why should I prebook and prepay for a bus transfer in Cancun to my resort?
Convenience: Upon arrival at the Cancun airport, having pre-booked transfers means you don't have to worry about finding a taxi or navigating public transportation. Your driver will be waiting for you, ready to whisk you away to your destination.
The drive can be from 15 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the location of your hotel or resort.
Once you exit the airport doors, you will make your way to the area of buses, and it is a bit like organized chaos!
Look for a driver with your name, the travel provider name or the resort name. Your name will be on a main manifest with the driver.
Check if the driver has beverages on board and if not you can purchase drinks from a nearby kiosk.
And always check when your return time for pick up back to the airport.
But I have taken a taxi and this is a safe mode of transportation.
