Introduced by Eastman Kodak in the early 20th century, the Amateur Flashlight Outfit was an extremely simple flashpowder-based flash intended for use with consumer cameras like the Brownie and Autographic. It was sold well into the 1920s until being replaced by self-contained flashbulbs.
