Manufactured by German toy manufacturer Gebruder Schmidt Nürnberg (AKA GSN or Gescha), the Junior was a remarkably sophisticated toy typewriter, featuring sturdy stamped-steel construction, ribbon typing, and upper/lowercase capability. Widely exported across Europe and to North America, various versions were manufactured and sold between 1936 and 1965.
