Charmander evolves into Charmeleon at Lv. 16.
Charmeleon evolves into Charizard at Lv. 36. Anyone should know this, really.
Charizard Mega Evolves into Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y while it is holding either Charizardite X or Charizardite Y, respectively.
Shiny Charmander is yellow instead of orange. It's hard to tell them apart; it used to be easier, actually, because I think the tail fire was a darker orange/red. This time you only get yellow skin.
Shiny Charmeleon is the exact same way, but it's easier to notice since normal Charmeleon is more of a red color. Fun fact: I've never cared for Charmeleon. Never liked the topknot thingie, and compared to Ivysaur and Wartortle, it's design sucks.
Shiny Charizard is a complete turnaround and could be, in fact, the most popular and famous Shiny Pokemon of all time.
Shiny Charizard is black instead of orange, and has red wings instead of blue. It's belly also becomes more of a cream color instead of yellowy orange.
With the introduction of XY's Megas, things get a bit interesting.
Mega Charizard X, being naturally black, becomes a weird shade of teal in the shiny form. The Shiny form also has red wings instead of blue, and curiously the horns and shoulder horns become red-tipped. The fire stays blue, however; I personally think it would've looked better if it changed back to red flames, but maybe it's coding or something
Shiny Mega Charizard Y parallels Shiny Charizard; however, one might notice the skin color is slightly lighter. It still looks really cool though, and is my personal preference.
Yes; I recorded the Mega Y version first and X second, but I wanted them to be in order for the video (it's XY not YX.) No, I don't have 2 shiny Charizards, and no, I'm not going to trade mine. I've been trying to get one for nearly a decade now.
