I followed the road lines when suddenly it turned into a left turn instead of straight after new construction. That was when a blue honda civic flew by and side swiped my tire causing a lot of damage to her but none to me. She didnt check to see if we were okay. All she cared about was talking to witnesses. It was deemed my fault and I accept that however, I tried to explain that the road lines painted were incorrect and misleading which led to the crash. The other driver was also most likely confused. I would say the city of Coquitlam and poor planning their new enterances and roadways around Coquitlam centre were at fault. As drivers we obey traffic signage and road lines and if something changed suddenly someone could get hurt or killed. Thanks @CityofCoquitlam for this ding on my licence. It was perfect. Hopefully you fixed the mistake. I have never gone back there since afraid of road pattern mistakes along with speeding new drivers that are not even watching where they are going. Mall parking lots are 10 to 15km per hour. This young lady was flying through at 50 to 60 kms per hour ! You be the judge.
