“Christmas Eve” is one of the rare Christmas songs that I genuinely enjoy listening to during December. Rather than focusing on celebration, it captures the quiet loneliness and reflection that can surface during the holiday season. The imagery of midnight snow, silent nights, a prayer for love, gives the song a fragile, intimate atmosphere. There is a sense of longing throughout, hoping for someone’s return, holding onto love and memory, and finding comfort in belief even when that hope may never be fulfilled. Its emotional honesty allow it to stand apart from traditional holiday songs, carrying warmth, sorrow, and quiet strength all at once, with a tune that is quite happy which may hide the story within the lyrics, but yet, captures a song well-fitting for any Christmas Playlist.

Seven Seas of Time is a self-imagined compilation album featuring a collection of songs by the British rock vocalist John Payne.
I chose the album title and designed the artwork. I have chosen these songs as they are lesser known tracks. I feel these songs deserve much more attention. Some of them are rare, others are from John Paynes guest appearances on different albums. There are a few cover versions of very good rock songs featured as well, along with some rare demos.
Each of these songs are brilliant. I hope my choices in songs for this mix will introduce many of you to something new, something that you will all enjoy very much.
