In this video I show you how easy it is to use a Baofeng UV-5R, or other Baofeng GMRS or ham radio to mask half of your conversation over the air, so that nobody can listen to both sides of your conversations. This is not encryption or even fully secure communications, but it will make extremely difficult for anyone to eavesdrop on your conversations when using your GMRS or ham radio. This can be useful when trying to stay secure in a SHTF situation or when just using your two-way GMRS or amateur radio to talk with your friends about the weather.
