How to install the VULKK SWTOR UI and Keybinds Guide:
vulkk.com/2016/12/12/vulkk-swtor-ui-5-0-installation-instructions-keybinding-guide
SWTOR is 12 years old at the time of this publication. A few years ago, the developers started an upgrade process that slowly moves the game into a more tolerable state graphics-wise.
The starter worlds look much better now, the cinematics have also been improved and a lot of the recently released assets have high quality textures and cool visual effects worth staring at.
To take advantage of this, and to freshen up your gameplay experience, I have two recommendations: Change the camera distance and design a Minimalist UI.
Moving the camera closer to your character, will limit your view. But it will allow you to enjoy the visual effects on your Space Barbie (or... Space Ken!)
Remove or make transparent as many segments of your UI as possible. No matter what resolution you play on, you can always make the UI tinier and more compact.
When playing challenging endgame PvE group content or participating in PvP, having the camere close to your character is not a good idea. Same goes for the minimalist UI. You need as much data available to you when you are expected to make split-second decision.
I hope you find this useful. Maybe it will inspire you to replay one of your favorite origin stories or at least make it more fun when farming dailies.

0:29 Skill Tree and Gearing
1:26 Ability Priorities
SKILL TREE AND GEARING
The May Cause Injury build uses 2 crit implants, so you’ll need to get an extra piece of alacrity or give up Dynamic Force in favor of Force Training. Dynamic Force is more valuable with this build because it will enable you to use Recklessness for every single trash pull without having to wait around.
I recommend taking Lightning Critical and Voltaic Engine to boost your damage output, but they’re not required. Don’t bother trying to maintain the crit chance from Voltaic Engine on regular trash. In boss fights in FPs, switch Reaper to Penetrating Slash and May Cause Injury to The Awakened Flame.
You don’t have to worry as much about building up Voltage since you’ll be getting 3 stacks of Static Charge from other sources, though you will still need to build 1 stack with Severing Slash, Lacerate, or Voltaic Slash to turn Discharge into an AoE.
ROTATIONS AND ABILITY PRIORITIES
This is the general priority system you’ll be using your abilities in against each group of trash in order to maximize your damage output.
Generally, you’ll activate Recklessness, Phantom Stride in from Stealth giving you 3 stacks of Static Charge and Shadowcraft, enabling single-target autocrit Discharge, then cleave the group with Severing Slash to boost Discharge’s damage further and enable it to be an AoE.
Most enemies hit by Severing Slash will go down for the count with the AoE Discharge, and the ones you missed can be finished off with Reaping Strikes crits. If that wasn’t enough, quickly do Assassinate then Maul or Ball Lightning and hopefully that will be enough.
If you’re too slow, you won’t get the cooldown reset on all of your attacks, so make sure to only use Reaping Strike against enemies that have low enough health that a Reaping Strike crit will be able to finish them off.

0:00 Build Features Overview

1:18 Attributes and Perk Points
3:37 Cyberware
You know the Pimp Cane called Cottonmouth, in Cyberpunk 2077, right. Yeah, you do! This guide will show how to create a robust build featuring that pimp cane along with the looks that it demands! The playstyle of the Pimp build is aggressive and flexible. It combines the pimp cane’s impressive melee prowess with long-range precision weaponry that uses debilitating poison-laced ammunition, which can be used to dispatch individual targets from afar.
All of the weapons in this build have a chance to apply poison as a secondary effect. They are meant to synergize with the Black Mamba implant in the Circulatory System, which almost entirely eliminates the damage dealt by the poison in exchange for making you deal more damage with everything else against poisoned enemies. If you come across a weapon that applies poison, feel free to use it in the meantime, but these are the top recommended ones you should aim for.
In this build, practically all of your Perk Points are allocated to Technical Ability, Body, and Cool. This allocation means you aren’t really starved for Attribute Points, and you can easily cut off a specific branch in the Body tree when you’re short on Perk points.
Body boosts your effectiveness with blunt weapons and improves your survivability. The middle branch is all about passive health regeneration. It gives access to an effect called Adrenaline Rush, which gives you some overshield (or rather overhealth) whenever you use your healing item. The right branch buffs your blunt weapons, primarily by greatly expanding what you can do while wielding one. It also reduces your stamina consumption and attack speed. This branch grants you the abilities to Slam the Ground and Throw bodies around. Very cool. In the early game, dump as many points as you can into buffing blunt weapons until you start running into survivability issues. Then invest into health regeneration as needed.
Technical Ability increases your Cyberware Capacity, gives your Tech weapons a special precision charging effect called Bolt, and improves the effectiveness of your Healing Item, Explosives, and Cyberware. Just about everything in this tree is valuable, so if you have a spare Perk Point, spend it on something here, whatever you feel you need at the moment.
In the Cool tree, all you’ll need are the buffs to damage and stamina regeneration for rifles (and handguns) in the left branch. Focus and Deadeye trigger when you have high stamina; they make aiming easier, make your headshots deal significantly more damage, and refund stamina.
You can make pretty consistent use of both the buffs to your Arms Cyberware, Jailbreak and Launch Capacity Override, as well as Vulnerability Analytics and Machine Learning from the Relic Tree.
The amount of Cyberware you can equip is too variable to offer a one-size-fits-all solution. The Cyberware you’ll be able to equip depends on your exact street cred, level, current perks, and how many Cyberware capacity shards you’ve found. As a result, I’ve divided up my Cyberware recommendations into 3 categories based on their importance to the build. The Berserk Operating System implant is dedicated to improving your performance while using a melee weapon. I recommend using the Militech Berserk, which is the only Iconic version of this type of Operating System. It costs a ton of Cyberware capacity, but it’s worth it because it’s significantly stronger than the non-Iconic versions. It makes you immune to damage instead of just preventing your HP from dropping below 25%. However, you still have a strong incentive to use it at low health because it also makes you also deal more damage the lower your health is when it was activated. Normally, each charge of the Projectile Launch System fires a single explosive. With the Relic skill tree, you can charge up a shot to fire 5 explosives in sequence while only consuming a single activation charge. Some separate Perks in the Technical Ability Tree along with the Relic Perks enable it to have the same buffs as Grenades. The Toxic Projectile Launch System causes an explosion that deals chemical damage and has a chance to apply poison, so it synergizes with Black Mamba.
That's it. The Pimp Build guide. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!

2:34 Combat Style Balance Changes

"Chains in the Dark" Solo Story
The "Chains in the Dark" storyline shifts the focus from Malgus and Nul back to the Mandalorian Civil War. The story takes place at Kessan's Landing on Ord Mantell, the new landing zone.
Returning characters include Lane Vizla, Rass Ordo, and either Arn Peralun or Darth Krovos depending on your faction. The story will also feature some faces from other missions on Ord Mantell and a Zabrak collector searching for an old HK-24 droid.
New Landing Zone on Ord Mantell: Kessan's Landing
The new landing zone on Ord Mantell called Kessan's Landing, is accessible to both factions, not just the Republic like the rest of the planet. The volcanic island features a daily area with associated reputation rewards and achievements, a world boss, and a datacron.
Much like Ruhnuk and Manaan (and a partial attempt on Voss), Keesan's Landing doubles as both a story area and a daily area with its own Reputation and associated set of cosmetic rewards.
GTN Overhaul
The GTN has been overhauled and contains a host of new features, including some market data that shows the recent and historic price so you know if you're getting a good deal. You'll also always and only be able to buy whichever listing is the cheapest, so no more getting scammed accidentally buying a crafted black and red dye for a billion credits!
The system is far more focused on unit price and views stackable items as commodities where you pick how many you want and buy that many all at once from multiple sellers. You'll also set the unit price rather than the total price so you don't have to bother with that math yourself!
The GTN should remain accessible and easy to use, but if you're someone who plays the market, there are some significant differences, including revamped fees, so be sure to check out our dedicated guide on the GTN overhaul!
New Tiers of Gear
We're getting the iRating ceiling for endgame gear increased again! The new max tier for most PvE players will be 340, with Rakata gear going up to 344. Purple gear from R-4 Anomaly will be convertible from 340 Virulent to 344 Rakata. Legendary Implants and Mods from Hyde and Zeek will be going up to 340, and PvP gear will be going up to 336.
DPS Balance Changes
A few of the DPS specs receive changes with 7.4, namely the Sniper/Gunslinger, Jugernaut/Guardian and Powertech/Vanguard. Check our extensive coverage on these balance changes on VULKK.com.
Cutscene Lightning Improvements
All cutscenes in the game will feature greatly improved lighting that's more accurate and detailed without being as harsh. Here is a quick preview.
Cartel Market Items
We'll be getting a brand new type of shiny dye for armor, along with a couple of new armor sets and weapons.
The new dyes will only be available for direct sale for a very limited time. They will be rotated out on a weekly basis starting with the release of 7.4 and ending on January 6th, 2024. After that, the only way to obtain them from the Cartel Market will be to win them in an Ultimate Cartel Pack.
We have a number of new guides for 7.4 and if you are watching this video after Tuesday, December 5th, most of them will already be live and available. We collected all available data from PTS, but wanted to compare and confirm with the live version before we release them.
Note: All images in this video of new features are sourced from SWTOR 7.4 PTS

INTRO TO SOLO BERSERKER
As a Solo Berserker, you’ll strengthen your body and enhance it with tech that lets you slam the ground hard enough that it quakes around you. Should you decide to send all that kinetic energy into a gonk foolish enough to stand in your way, you’ll find that the only thing left behind after your fist connects is a pool of blood and a few splatters of viscera.
It is all about leveraging the overwhelming power of Gorilla Arms, Tech weapons, and explosives.
WEAPONS
Alongside the Gorilla Arms, you’ll be using Iconic versions of a Tech sniper rifle and Tech double-barrel shotgun, along with either an LMG or Tech handgun.
While my specific weapon recommendations aren’t all that important since you will be spending such a significant amount of time punching and exploding, you should still select weapons that are effectively self-sufficient without any perks to back them up.
ATTRIBUTES AND PERKS
Practically all of your Perk Points are allocated to Technical Ability, Body, and Cool. This means you aren’t really starved for Attribute Points. You need to access the top perks in specific branches, though you won’t be getting any Perks in Intelligence and only a couple in Reflexes.
Body
In the early game, dump as many points as you can into buffing blunt weapons (right branch) until you start running into survivability issues, then invest points into health regeneration (left branch) as needed.
As you approach level 60, you can start investing in buffs for your LMG/shotgun (left branch).
Technical Ability
Just about everything in this tree is valuable, so if you have a spare Perk Point, spend it on something here, whatever you feel you need at the moment.
Cool
In the Cool tree, you’ll need the buffs to damage and stamina regeneration for rifles (and handguns) in the left branch. Focus and Deadeye trigger when you have high stamina; they make aiming easier, make your headshots deal significantly more damage, and refund stamina.
Relic
The only thing you will be able to make consistent use of in the Relic Skill tree is the Jailbreak and Limiter removal perk to occasionally buff the strong attack from your Gorilla Arms.
CYBERWARE
While leveling, you may not always have access to the top Cyberware recommended for this build, but you can almost always replace it with something else you do have access to. The recommended Chrome for the Solo Berserker Build is split into three categories according to an implant's value and importance to the build.
Berserk
I recommend using the Militech Berserk, which is the only Iconic version of this type of Operating System. Before you unlock the Iconic, use Biodyne Berserk.
Gorilla Arms
The Gorilla Arms are your actual melee weapons, and they are considered a blunt weapon for the purposes of the Perks in the Body tree. With this build, they will be the only thing you can use while Berserk is active, and that’s fine.
I strongly recommend using the Electrifying Gorilla Arms with this build because they are one of the types that deal the most damage per hit, and are attuned to Technical Ability, so you’ll get the full damage boost from spending 20 points.
You can read the full written guide about this build on VULKK.com. It contains a lot more details and is always kept up-to-date. Thanks for watching.

0:00 Intro to the Concentration Solo Build
0:09 Skill Tree and Gear Recommendations
0:46 Ability Priorities
SKILL TREE AND GEARING
To play Concentration in solo content well, can be challenging, because you have to learn to use specific abilities at specific times against specific enemies in the group.
If you want, you can use Unstable Focus and/or Criticality instead of Zenith and Focused Meditation. Criticality offers slightly higher single-target DPS, but with Focused Meditation, you’re basically overflowing with Focus, so you don’t need to worry about it nearly as much. Unstable Focus enables you to deal AoE damage with Focused Burst, which will increase the rate at which you will take out the weaker enemies, though it will take longer to defeat the stronger enemies as single-target DPS is lower.
ROTATIONS AND ABILITY PRIORITIES
Start by leaping in and making sure you have sufficient Focus, use Zealous Strike if you need more. Then Zealous Leap It grants a proc that makes your next Focused Burst or Force Sweep autocrit. You should be using Zealous Leap pretty much on cooldown.
Your first major objective is detonating Force Exhaustion as an AoE with Force Sweep. Force Exhaustion only lasts 3s, so you have to be quick about applying it and immediately following it up with Force Sweep or you’ll miss out on your AoE damage.
Before you do Force Exhaustion and Force Sweep, throw in a Concentrated Slice. It hits hard and gives you a proc that boosts the damage dealt by your next Force Sweep or Focused Burst. Concentrated Slice should be used next on a target that will be able to survive through the subsequent Force Sweep autocrit and Force Exhaustion detonation, so use it on a different enemy if there are no Strong or Elite enemies present.
Once you’ve done Force Sweep and Force Exhaustion, it’s time to finish enemies off with Zealous Leap, Focused Burst, and Concentrated Slice. You need to leverage the Zealous Annihilation ability tree buff to reset the cooldowns of Zealous Leap, Focused Burst, and Force Sweep and boost their damage dealt.
To get the Zealous Annihilation proc, you need to defeat the enemy within 3 seconds of using Zealous Leap on it, so you need to pay close attention to what enemy you expect to defeat next and how much damage it will take to defeat them. Zealous Leap + Focused Burst is sometimes overkill, so you can use Blade Storm instead of Focused Burst if you think that will be enough to finish something off.
You can use Cyclone Slash, Blade Blitz, and Twin Saber Throw for an additional bit of AoE (especially from range) as needed and Dispatch, Concentrated Slice, Blade Storm, and Blade Barrage for other single-target attacks.

SKILL TREE AND GEARING
To play Fury in solo content well, can be challenging, because you have to learn to use specific abilities at specific times against specific enemies in the group.
If you want, you can use Subjugate and/or Criticality instead of Dark Synergy and Furious Rumination. Criticality offers slightly higher single-target DPS, but with Furious Rumination, you’re overflowing with Rage, so you don’t need to worry about it nearly as much. Subjugate enables you to deal AoE damage with Raging Burst, which will increase the rate at which you will take out the weaker enemies, though it will take longer to defeat the stronger enemies as single-target DPS is lower.
ROTATIONS AND ABILITY PRIORITIES
Start by leaping in and making sure you have sufficient Rage, use Battering Assault if you need more. Then use Obliterate. It grants a proc that makes your next Raging Burst or Smash autocrit. You should be using Obliterate pretty much on cooldown.
Your first major objective is detonating Force Crush as an AoE with Smash. Force Crush only lasts 3s, so you have to be quick about applying it and immediately following it up with Smash or you’ll miss out on your AoE damage.
Before you do Force Crush and Smash, throw in a Furious Strike. It hits hard and gives you a proc that boosts the damage dealt by your next Smash or Raging Burst. Furious Strike should be used next on a target that will be able to survive through the subsequent Smash autocrit and Force Crush detonation, so use it on a different enemy if there are no Strong or Elite enemies present.
Once you’ve done Smash and Force Crush, it’s time to finish enemies off with Obliterate, Raging Burst, and Furious Strike. You need to leverage the Obliteration ability tree buff to reset the cooldowns of Obliterate, Raging Burst, and Smash and boost their damage dealt.
To get the Obliteration proc, you need to defeat the enemy within 3 seconds of using Obliterate on it, so you need to pay close attention to what enemy you expect to defeat next and how much damage it will take to defeat them. Obliterate + Raging Burst is sometimes overkill, so you can use Force Scream instead of Raging Burst if you think that will be enough to finish something off.
You can use Sweeping Slash, Mad Dash, and Dual Saber Throw for an additional bit of AoE (especially from range) as needed and Vicious Throw, Furious Strike, Force Scream, and Ravage for other single-target attacks.

This build enables you to poison and weaken every enemy in the immediate vicinity with Corrosive Dart - Weakening Blast - Corrosive Grenade and then pick off each target with a partial channel of Cull with each death creating a poison explosion.
I can switch between Orbital Strike and Hololocate as needed. Hololocate is great to teleport back if you just need to get into one area to click on something and then go back the way you came while Orbital Strike can be used in the meantime as a potent AoE attack since Hololocate has a 2 min cooldown.
Orbital Strike’s usage is dependent on whether you have the ability available and/or want to use it on that set of trash mobs. I’d recommend saving it for groups that have a stronger enemy.
Lethal Shot is in a similar boat. You should hold off on using it unless there’s an enemy in the group that you think will need a bit more damage to take down. A lot of regular trash can be taken out with just the DoT spread + individual Culls.
Make sure you use Weakening Blast and Viral Targeting before Corrosive Grenade so that you can spread the Weakening Blast debuff and get the duration increase on Integrated Toxins from Corrosive Technologies.
Once you’re done with the opener in solo content, you’ll continue to Cull each enemy one by one until the whole group is dead. Remember to DoT spread from the target that is most central to the group so you hit the most targets, but when Culling enemies, start from the enemy with the lowest HP and work your way up, so you may end up Culling a different target than you threw Corrosive Grenade at.

Welcome, to the best Telekinetics Sage Build, optimised to perform extremely well in solo content by utilizing effects designed specifically for use against trash mobs.
00:00 - Start
00:11 - Skill Tree and Gearing
00:41 - Ability Priorities
The Gathering Storm and Unmatched Haste legendary implants provide the best boost when playing solo content.
The solo Telekinetics build revolves around using Telekinetic Wave to deal damage directly and apply Dormant Tremors, which will make affected targets take additional damage from your next Forcequake. Then you have Weaken Mind, Turbulence, Telekinetic Gust, Mind Crush, and Project to finish off stronger enemies.
There are 2 mini-rotations for Telekinetics in solo content depending on whether you want to deal a lot of single-target or AoE damage. With both rotations, make sure to reapply Force Armor as soon as the Force-imbalanced debuff wears off.
This rotation will be enough to take out groups of trash comprised exclusively of standard and weak enemies.
The AoE Damage rotation deals enough damage to bring everything low enough that these abilities will be enough to take out any of the stronger enemies that are left standing.
You really only need to include Mind Crush against Elites, Weaken Mind ► Turbulence ► Telekinetic Gust will be enough for most Strong NPCs.
Turbulence deals more damage than Telekinetic Gust or Mind Crush, but Mind Crush needs time to tick, makes the target take a bit more damage from Force attacks, and the rate limit on the proc that makes Telekinetic Wave instant won't always be up if you use Turbulence that early. You're not going to need to use more than one Turbulence anyway so delaying is irrelevant.

This guide explains the best Gunnery Commando Solo Build, optimized to perform extremely well in solo content. It enables you to have a far more enjoyable experience fighting trash mobs than you would with a sustained DPS build since you’ll be utilizing effects designed specifically for use against trash mobs!
With this build, you’ll be able to fire loads of explosives at everyone while having a substantial amount of survivability and mobility. The damage and multi-target potential of your explosives are dependent on whether or not the enemies are affected by your Gravity Vortex debuff.
Gravity Vortex can be applied by Grav Round (which will hit up to 3 targets with Grav Trio) and spread with Plasma Grenade. Demolition Round and Mortar Volley deal more damage to targets affected by your Gravity Vortex and Demolition Round fires additional weaker rounds at secondary targets affected by your Gravity Vortex.
This is the general rotation you’ll be using your abilities in against each group of trash in order to maximize your damage output. You are slightly limited by ability cooldowns being too long, though you should be able to do this against most groups of trash.
The main idea here is to start by applying Gravity Vortex to everything and then use the abilities that benefit from Gravity Vortex being applied and deal damage to multiple targets.
Grav Round with Grav Trio is enough for groups of trash that have 3 enemies or fewer, but sometimes you need to include Plasma Grenade to spread it to everything, especially if there are more than 3 targets. The travel time on Plasma Grenade is long, so Gravity Vortex won’t be spread by the time you can fire Demolition Round unless you use Tech Override to make it instant or do another attack in between Plasma Grenade and Demolition Round.
After you’ve done Demolition Round or if that ability is on cooldown, you can use Mortar Volley, which will be enough to finish off most Standard and Weak enemies. The only things left standing will be stronger enemies or those that didn’t get hit by everything.

FULL GUIDE: vulkk.com/2023/04/07/how-to-unlock-and-start-legacy-of-the-sith-in-swtor
The Legacy of the Sith expansion came with two different new storylines to Republic and Empire supporters. Both have some differences in terms of goals and missions, but the locations you visit and explore are the same.
To access this content you need to cover the following requirements:
Be an active subscriber or have been a subscriber for at least a month between today and the release date of Legacy of the Sith, which is February 15, 2022.
Have the Onslaught storyline completed
Be level 75-80 (recommended). There is no actual hard coded level requirement.
There is no direct way to play straight from the beginning of Legacy of the Sith. The closest point you can drop your character directly, without playing from the beginning at level 1, is to create a level 70 character on the character creation screen, provided you have the character token required for that.
This will drop you right at the beginning of the Ossus story line, which serves as the opening act of the Onslaught expansions story arc. It all ends with the mission Whispers of the Force. After that, you are finally ready to start Legacy of the Sith!
Go to your Personal Starship and check the Mission Console for a new mission. You should see the starter mission for your faction under the tag “Legacy of the Sith”. For Republic players, it’s called “Dead in the Water”. For Empire followers, it's “Retaliation”.
That's it. Enjoy the stories. Thanks. BB!
This guide explains the best Vengeance Juggernaut Solo Build, optimized to perform extremely well in solo content. It enables you to have a far more enjoyable experience fighting trash mobs than you would with a sustained DPS build since you’ll be utilizing effects designed specifically for use against trash mobs!
00:00 - What is the Vengeance Solo Build
00:20 - Skill Tree and Gearing
01:11 - Ability Priorities
Cut to Pieces, Shattering Burst, and Projected Scream are the biggest parts of this because they enable you to do a ton of direct AoE damage while spreading your DoTs with ease.
Blood Rites, in conjunction with the Champion’s Precision implant and the Seething Hatred combat style passive, makes your DoTs have a 100% chance to crit and the buff will have practically 100% uptime thanks to the cooldown reset and long duration.
Saber Reflect is not as useful in solo content as Vengeance. Most adds get stunned by Vengeful Slam and don’t even hit very hard in the first place, but the damage can be enough to prevent you from DoT spreading. Mad Dash offers a nice boost of mobility and extra AoE attack.
This is the general priority system you’ll be using your abilities in against each group of trash in order to maximize your damage output.
Your first objective is to leap to the enemy with the highest HP and apply Shatter along with possibly Impale. Typically, Impale is excessive unless there is a Strong or Elite enemy in the group.
Technically, Vengeful Slam will spread Force Scream’s DoT, but because Force Scream is an AoE, there isn’t really a need to do that. You do need to aim Force Scream if you need to use AoE. The cone originates from your target rather than your character's mouth, so you can think of the target acting as a prism turning the single target attack into a cone behind them.
Doing Force Scream after Vengeful Slam also means everything will have its armor reduced before getting hit by Force Scream while reducing the chance that the target you’re trying to spread to gets defeated before getting a chance to spread.
Impale, Hew, additional Vengeful Slams, and to a lesser extent, Ravage, all work well as single-target finishers if the initial barrage wasn’t enough.
In heroics, you may need to do another round of DoT spreading with Shatter, Vengeful Slam, and Force Scream, or use more than just Hew and Impale to finish off the healthiest target. It’s fine to use Vengeful Slam against a single target, and if that isn’t enough you also have Ravage.
Best Solo Arsenal Mercenary Build in SWTOR 7.2.1, optimized to perform extremely well in solo content. It enables you to have a far more enjoyable experience fighting trash mobs than you would with a sustained DPS build since you’ll be utilizing effects designed specifically for use against trash mobs!
00:00 - What is the Arsenal Mercenary Solo Build
00:18 - Skill Tree and Gearing
00:59 - Rotation and Ability Priorities
With this build, you’ll be able to fire loads of missiles at everyone while having a substantial amount of survivability and mobility. The damage and multi-target potential of your missiles is dependent on whether or not the enemies are affected by your Heat Signature debuff.
Heat Signature can be applied by Tracer Missile (which will hit up to 3 targets with Triple Trace) and spread with Fusion Missile. Heatseeker Missiles and Death from Above deal more damage to targets affected by your Heat Signature and Heatseeker Missiles fires additional weaker missiles at secondary targets affected by your Heat Signature.
This is the general rotation you’ll be using your abilities in against each group of trash in order to maximize your damage output. You are slightly limited by ability cooldowns being too long, though you should be able to do this against most groups of trash.
The main idea here is to start by applying Heat Signature to everything and then use the abilities that benefit from Heat Signature being applied and deal damage to multiple targets.
Tracer Missile with Triple Trace is enough for groups of trash that have 3 enemies or fewer, but sometimes you need to include Fusion Missile to spread it to everything, especially if there are more than 3 targets. The travel time on Fusion Missile is long, so Heat Signature won’t be spread by the time you can fire Heatseeker Missiles unless you use Power Surge to make it instant or do another attack in between Fusion Missile and Heatseeker Missiles.
After you’ve done Heatseeker Missiles or if that ability is on cooldown, you can use Death from Above, which will be enough to finish off most Standard and Weak enemies. The only things left standing will be stronger enemies or those that didn’t get hit by everything.

This guide explains the best Vigilance Guardian Solo Build, optimized to perform extremely well in solo content. It enables you to have a far more enjoyable experience fighting trash mobs than you would with a sustained DPS build since you’ll be utilizing effects designed specifically for use against trash mobs!
00:00 - Start
00:20 - Skill Tree and Gearing
01:11 - Ability Priorities
Cut to Pieces, Branding Burst, and Blade Burst are the biggest parts of this build though because they enable you to do a ton of direct AoE damage while spreading your DoTs with ease.
Searing Meditation, in conjunction with the Champion’s Precision implant and the Preparation combat style passive, makes your DoTs have a 100% chance to crit and the buff will have practically 100% uptime thanks to the cooldown reset and long duration.
Saber Reflect is not as useful in solo content as Vigilance. Most adds get stunned by Vigilant Thrust and don’t even hit very hard in the first place, but the damage can be enough to prevent you from DoT spreading. Blade Blitz offers a nice boost of mobility and extra AoE attack.
This is the general priority system you’ll be using your abilities in against each group of trash in order to maximize your damage output.
Your first objective is to leap to the enemy with the highest HP and apply Shatter along with possibly Overhead Slash. Typically, Overhead Slash is excessive unless there is a Strong or Elite enemy in the group.
Technically, Vigilant Thrust will spread Blade Storm’s DoT, but because Blade Storm is an AoE, there isn’t really a need to do that. You do need to aim Blade Storm if you need to use AoE. The cone originates from your target rather than your character's mouth, so you can think of the target acting as a prism turning the single target attack into a cone behind them.
Doing Blade Storm after Vigilant Thrust also means everything will have its armor reduced before getting hit by Blade Storm while reducing the chance that the target you’re trying to spread to gets defeated before getting a chance to spread.
Overhead Slash, Whirling Blade, additional Vigilant Thrusts, and to a lesser extent, Blade Barrage, all work well as single-target finishers if the initial barrage wasn’t enough.
In heroics, you may need to do another round of DoT spreading with Shatter, Vigilant Thrust, and Blade Storm or use more than just Whirling Blade and Overhead Slash to finish off the healthiest target. It’s fine to use Vigilant Thrust against a single target, and if that isn’t enough you also have Blade Barrage.

Welcome, to the best Lightning Sorcerer Build, optimised to perform extremely well in solo content by utilizing effects designed specifically for use against trash mobs.
00:00 - Start
00:10 - Skill Tree and Gearing
00:40 - Ability Priorities
The Gathering Storm and Unmatched Haste legendary implants provide the best boost when playing solo content.
The solo Lightning build revolves around using Chain Lightning to deal damage directly and apply Suppressive Current, which will make affected targets take additional damage from your next Force Storm. Then you have Affliction, Thundering Blast, Lightning Flash, Crushing Darkness, and Shock to finish off stronger enemies.
There are 2 mini-rotations for Lightning in solo content depending on whether you want to deal a lot of single-target or AoE damage. With both rotations, make sure to reapply Static Barrier as soon as the Deionized debuff wears off.
This rotation will be enough to take out groups of trash comprised exclusively of standard and weak enemies.
The AoE Damage rotation deals enough damage to bring everything low enough that these abilities will be enough to take out any of the stronger enemies that are left standing.
You really only need to include Crushing Darkness against Gold NPCs, Affliction ► Thundering Blast ► Lightning Flash will be enough for most Silvers.
Thundering Blast deals more damage than Lightning Flash or Crushing Darkness, but Crushing Darkness needs time to tick, makes the target take a bit more damage from Force attacks, and the rate limit on the Lightning Storm proc that makes Chain Lightning instant won’t always be up if you use Thundering Blast that early. You’re not gonna need to use more than one Thundering Blast anyway so delaying is irrelevant.

This is a cinematic clip from the main quest in Novigrad called Novigrad Dreaming. It has a lot of optional questions that you may have missed if you opted to go into the dream.
I cut only the part about Ciri and her part. The other choices in the conversation between Geralt and Corinne are not optional and the few that are, have little to no value to the story.
EXTENDED WRITTEN GUIDE: vulkk.com/2022/12/16/how-to-turn-on-alternative-character-appearance-in-witcher-3-next-gen
Table of Contents:
0:00 How to activate Alternative Appearances
0:42 Dandelion Alternative Appearance
0:59 Nilfgaardian Armor Alternative Appearance
The Witcher 3 had sixteen free DLCs released before the launch of the Next-Gen update. Three of these were Alternative Appearances - for Ciri, Yennefer and Triss.
Update 4.0 brought two new free Alternative Appearances - for Dandelion and for the Nilfgaardian armor.
To activate and use an alternative appearance of a character in The Witcher 3, first exit to main screen if you are currently playing the game. Open the main menu of the game, go to Options, then Gameplay. Scroll to the bottom and select which characters you want to appear with their alternative outfits.By default, they are set to OFF.
Here is a preview of Dandelion. If you ask me, this looks like a totally different character now. CD PROJEKT RED changed only the outfit, not the character model. He now wears clothes inspired by the bard Jaskier (Dandelion's original Polish name) from the Netflix TV Show The Witcher. He's also clean shaven.
The more curious situation is with the Nilfgaardian armor appearance. The developers added the ugly black thing from the show as new alternative appearance. It doesn't apply to the old Nilfgaardian armor set, available for purchase from the quartermaster at Crow's Perch. This was one of the sixteen Free DLCs I mentioned earlier.
In case you really liked the black armor from the show, I have good news. You can dress up in the Nilfgaardian armor mentioned earlier, go to the bottom right corner of Velen and visit the House of Respite. Keep in mind that guards may not let you if you wear something else.
In the northern corner of the house, you will find a Nilfgaardian Guardsman Armor Set and a great-looking helmet, which actually goes into the Mask slot.
Now, this armor set does change its appearance depending on how you have the Niflgaardian Alternative Appearance option set up in the main menu! Enjoy!

1:07:24 Overview of the Mastercrafted Forgotten Wolven Witcher Gear Set
This is the quest that at the end rewards you with the full set of Forgotten Wolven Armor and Swords witcher gear, referencing and inspired by the Netflix TV Show The Witcher.
At the end of the quest I am showing both the Normal Tier of the Gear as well as the Mastercrafted tier after I upgraded them.
I ran this on Death March, though I used an old save file where my character was quite a high level and equipped with very strong and powerful gear, so the challenge was minimal. This was my third time doing the quest and I decided to record it as a Walkthrough, in case you need help with something or just want to sit back and enjoy a bit of The Witcher 3 Gameplay.
The video was recorded with an incredibly high bitrate, though YouTube will undoubtfully do its job on compressing somewhat. 3440x1440px resolution, played on Ultra+ with RayTracing. I had everything maxed out and also was using DLSS with Frame Generation to increase the FPS, Without it, it was quite a bit lower, sadly.
To obtain the two new free gear sets, part of the Next-Gen Update to The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, you have to sign in to My Rewards section from the game's main menu or by visiting thewitcher.com/en/my-rewards page. There you will find instructions on how to claim your free stuff for each platform.
After this first step is completed, log in to your game and open the letter from Yennefer you would have received automatically.
Now go to the Royal Palace in Vizima. From the sign post, turn left and go to the room on the west side.
As you enter the second adjacent room, turn to your left. This is the chest where you will find the 12 new gear pieces and another letter.
This is another letter from Yennefer, in which she gives you a bit of a backstory about the two gear sets.
The Flowers Armor and Weapons Set requires only level 7 to wear while the White Tiger ot the West Armor set and the two Katanas require level 11. This is early to mid-game.
The two new sets are inspired by the newly released Simplified Chinese and Korean languages with the next-gen update of the game. They are completely free. The downside is that they are not witcher sets and cannot be upgraded, but are actually perfect to fill in a gap in your gearing process between the starter gear and the time you can begin obtaining the diagrams for the Witcher Sets!
SWTOR 7.2 Map and UI Guide: vulkk.com/2022/12/13/swtor-7-2-map-and-utility-bars-guide

Update 7.2 to Star Wars The Old Republic is out and although I personally loved the minimap changes, I know that often if something isn't broken, there's no need to fix it. In line with that thought, we are going to provide you with a quick guide on how to bring back your old minimap and set up the UI to look as close to how it was before 7.2 as possible.
If you prefer to reed, we have an in-depth guide linked in the description!
Utility Bar 1
Utility Bar 1 is the one located by default at the top left of your screen. It can house up to 18 slots in total. Here is what and how you should customize on it to make it look like the old UI.
Slot 1: Who
Slot 2: Friends
Slot 3: Guild
Slot 4: Mail
Slot 5: Login & Season Rewards
Slot 6: Divider (Optional)
Slot 7: Spacer (Optional)
Slots 8-18: Empty
Utility Bar 2
You can disable Utility Bar 2 because all of the buttons you need, will be around the minimap, old-school style!
Minimap
The big setting to change for the minimap is the Map Style. Set it to Maximal so the game will let you use the pre-7.2 style with all the buttons around it.
Here are a few more tweaks you may want to experiment with:
Flip Vertically:
A checkbox that makes it go upside down in case you wanted it to be stuck to the top half of your screen instead. (Default is Disabled/Unchecked)
Map Style:
A dropdown that controls whether you have all the buttons and indicators surrounding the map or just a floating circle. Maximal is the old style with buttons and indicators. Minimal is just a floating circle of the map with buttons and indicators removed. (Default is now Minimal)
Map Type:
A dropdown that controls cardinality. The Rotation setting makes it so your character’s forward-facing direction is North and the map rotates to accommodate that. The Scroll option makes it so your character rotates and the map has a constant North, South, East, and West that scrolls to accommodate that. (Default is Scroll)
Icon Scale:
A slider that exclusively adjusts the size of little icons you can filter out, like your character’s location, gathering nodes, mailboxes, vendors, etc., without altering the size of the map, buttons, or indicators. (Default is 1x)

Update 7.2 to Star Wars The Old Republic lands on December 13th 2022. Here are the major changes you don't want to miss out on if you plan to spend time In a Galaxy Far Far Away.
RUHNUK
The Mandalorian Civil War story arc features a showdown between Heta Kol and Shae Vizla on Ruhnuk and finally brings it together with the Malgus and Sa'har Kateen storyline.
Ruhnuk is a mostly dry and arid world, scratched by giant canyons. Its original inhabitants were miners seeking to exploit the planet's natural resources. They mysteriously abandoned the planet, leaving all their equipment behind.
Ruhnuk contains a daily area with solo and group daily and weekly missions available. There are also non-repeatable Relic Hunt Missions, which grant you unique buffs while you are on the planet and are a requirement for the new Datacron available in the Daily Area.
PVP CHANGES
The 3 existing PvP queues (unranked, solo ranked, and group ranked) are getting consolidated into 2 new queues, for 8v8 warzones and 4v4 arenas.
The newly released PvP Seasons system functions in a very similar way to the Galactic Seasons system. You participate in PvP activities and earn PvP points which gain you levels. Each season consists of 25 levels.
The limitation for free-to-play players is removed and now everyone can participate in Warzones and Arenas. Subscribers have access to more PvP Season objectives and earn PvP points faster.
The Onderon Palatial Ruins is a new 4v4 Arena map, also available with the release of 7.2.
MAP AND UI CHANGES
With 7.0 BioWare started what seems to be a long and slow process of UI redesign. With 7.2 we get a great new extremely customizable overlay style for the map that gives you a larger version of the map than what is offered by the minimap without all the obtrusive interface elements from the map window.
Since the new mini-map removes the buttons surrounding it in its classic format, BioWare opted to create a customizable utility bar for all those buttons and did the same for that top bar that toggles the welcome window, shows online status information, and whether you have mail.
In an admirable effort to be more inclusive, the developers are introducing three new Colorblind modes, accessible through the Graphics tab in the main game menu.
BALANCE AND GEARING CHANGES
The usual set of Combat Style Balance and Gearing Changes also accompany this update.
7.2 will contain some balance changes, primarily small buffs for tanks and some mixed adjustments for all Marauders / Sentinel disciplines.
Meanwhile, the iRating for all non-R4 PvE gear (Decurion, Tionese, Columi, Rakata) will have a new ceiling of 336 while Thyrsian (PvP) will have its iRating ceiling raised to 332. Hyde and Zeek will also sell 332 and 336 mods.
The floor for PvE gear will be raised to 324 while the floor for PvP gear will be raised to 322 so that gearing doesn’t take any longer than it does now.
HOLIDAY IN-GAME EVENTS
Life Day launches on December 13th, together with the patch. A week later, on December 20th, for a full week, we will get everybody's favorite Double XP event.
This is only a brief overview of the new features and changes. If you want a more in-depth look, check out the newly available guides on VULKK.com. As always, a ton of existing guides are being updated to reflect the changes from 7.2, starting with the Combat Styles Class Guides.
Thanks for watching!
This patch also includes a preview of the Sage, Vanguard and Scoundrel classes and their Combat Styles for 7.0.
You can check out the SWTOR 7.0 News and Updates coverage on VULKK.com for the full details on what is available on PTS, how the development of the expansion is moving forward and all the latest changes to each class and discipline!

2:21 What Rewards you can earn from Galactic Season 1
The Galactic Seasons is a level-based seasonal in-game system in. You can actively earn unique and exclusive rewards by completing specific Daily and Weekly Conquest Objectives called Priority Objectives. If you are a Subscriber, you will earn bonus rewards.
The entire Galactic Seasons system is Legacy-wide. This includes the levels you progress through and rewards you earn. The items you earn will be added to your collections, which is a great way to spread them to your other characters in your Legacy.
Both Subscribers and Free-to-play players have access to the Galactic Seasons system in SWTOR. To see your progress, open up the Daily Login Rewards window and navigate to the second tab at the top.
The Galactic Seasons Window consists of two major areas. At the top you will see the name of the current Galactic Season. The lower section lists your progression and items earned/claimed during the season.
There are three methods of earning Galactic Season XP, which fuels the Galactic Season Levels. The main method is to complete the specific Daily and Weekly Priority Objectives. The second method is to log in any four days during the week to earn some Galactic Season Points through the Login Rewards system. The third method is to pay with Credits or Cartel Coins to “skip” through the levels.
The first season has a five-weeks rotation of Daily and Weekly objectives. Each week they are different nad based on the world sectors of the Galaxy Map:
Week 1: Coreward Worlds objectives
Week 2: Distant Outer Rim objectives
Week 3: Hutt Space
Week 4: Seat of the Empire
Week 5: Unknown and Wild Space
The Galactic Seasons will offer rare and often exclusive rewards to players, who participate regularly or have deep pockets and catch up by paying for their Galactic Season Levels.
The Rewards earned through the Free and Subscriber Tiers are designed to be unique. The items offered by the Season Vendors will rotate weekly. More on Vendors later in this guide!
The top and most interesting to many of you (probably) will be the new companion reward. His name is Altuuk zok Adon and he is a member of the Kubaz species in Star Wars.

All of the above are the highlights of 6.3 and if you want to learn the details about each one, readthe Changes overview article on VULKK.com or the stand-alone guides I am happy to offer you about the Galactic System, the two new Fleet Strongholds and the new Flashpoint.
I would like to instead point your attention to a few lesser known and easy to skip details from the changes BioWare introduced with this update.
The Legacy Stronghold limit of fifteen will rise up to twenty with the release of SWTOR 6.3. This is most likely done due to the addition of the two new Fleet Apartments, part of the Galactic Seasons system.
Any new player is probably all to familiar with the struggle to unlock more cool Legacy features. BioWare is lowering the level requirements for a number of key Legacy-wide unlocks such as Legacy Fleet Pass, Legacy Travel, Rocket Boost (not Rocket Boots!) and Improved Priority Transport to your Starship. All of these will be available at much earlier Legacy level now. For any veterans like myself, this isn’t of any importance, but it doesn’t man I will skip over it.
Because of the canceled Refer a Friend program, BioWare is starting to look for ways to add to the core game the bonuses and perks it used to offer. With 6.3 all players will get for free the ability to Display Titles and Unify Colors. Yes, even Free-to-play!
A few Cartel Market armor pieces have had their appearances fixed, so they no longer clip through other items or display bugged. The list includes Cybernetic Pauldron’s set, The Patient Defender’s set, The Force Pilgrim’s set.
The refund timer of a number of eligible items will continue to run down even if your character is offline.
BioWare was forced to merge the PvP brackets from three into two. 1-74 and 75 level. This is most likely due to lack of activity on the PvP front in the lowbies.
Some good news on the PvP front next - the Huttball maps are coming back into rotation after they were removed a while ago due to heavy lag players were experiencing on them.
Last but far from least important, the Preferred players can now equip their characters with items over iLevel 270 (Spoils of War Premium and Prototypes items) as intended. While Item Level 270 is just the beginning of the EndGame Vertical Progression in SWTOR, it’s nice to know that this issue has been fixed now.
