I am still working on my "Ingredients of Identity" project! In this part, I’m finally getting into sculpting the shoulders and working through the (sometimes tricky) process of forming the hands. I’m also making a tiny spoon for the figure to hold. Because if we have all these "ingredients," we’re going to need something to stir the pot!

This is only my second time working with a full spun cotton figure, so it’s been a lot of learning as I go, layering the fibers and seeing how the anatomy holds up. Thanks for following along with this home residency! It’s been a slow, meditative process, and I’m glad to have you here for the evolution.
