Update on the Camcopter S-100 and new S-300 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programs with Schiebel during the 2025 Paris Air Show.

The Schiebel’s CAMCOPTER S-100 VTOL UAS is an operationally proven capability for military and civilian applications. It requires no prepared area or supporting equipment to enable launch and recovery. It operates by day and by night, under adverse weather conditions, with a beyond line-of-sight capability out to 200 km (108 nm), over land and sea. Designed to be a multiple payload capability, the S-100 offers ultimate flexibility for a wide range of payloads and missions to meet the diverse and individual requirements of customers. The S-100 offers main, auxiliary, nose payload bays and side payload hard points as well as the ability to carry undeslubng loads.
In a typical configuration, the CAMCOPTER S-100 carries a 50-kg (110 lb) payload for more than 6 hrs while with the optional external fuel tank further extends flight time to more than 10 hrs. The dash speed is 100 kts and the cruise speed 55 kts. Its carbon fiber and titanium fuselage provides capacity for a wide range of payload / endurance combinations up to a service ceiling of 5,500 m (18,000 ft).
The Camcopter S-300, a larger version of the Camcopter S-100, was unveiled/teased by Schiebel at Euronaval 2022. The UAS is 4.8 meters long, 1.9 meter high and 0.9 meter wide. It can fly at a maximum speed of 120 knots (cruising speed 55 knots). Size apart, the true difference compared to the S-100 system is the payload capacity. Indeed the S-300 is able to carry up to 340 Kg (fuel including) and its maximum take-off weight can reach 660 Kg. This is basically three times more compared the S-100 can carry. With a 50 Kg payload, the S-300 can fly up to 24 hours (4 hours with 250 Kg).
Schiebel won, a year ago, a contract for the development and delivery of the Camcopter S-300 VTOL UAV for the ROK Navy.

![Sweden and Saab selected for Poland’s new submarines
The Swedish government’s offer of Saab’s A26 submarines to Poland has been selected by the Polish government to replace the current Kilo-class submarine. Naval News recently visited Saab Kockums shipyard in Karlskrona, where two A26 submarines are currently in production for the Swedish Navy, to learn more.
Maxwell Litton, head of sales and business development at Saab Kockums, said:
Sweden, and Saab are proud. Very, very happy that that Poland decided to pick the the Swedish offer, which included 826 as the submarine for the the Polish Navy. We understand that decision because we believe that our submarine is uniquely tailored to fit the needs of the Polish Navy and look forward to delivering our platforms now
Our expertise is the Baltic Sea [...] so it should come as no surprise that the a26 is uniquely suited for this environment and considering the areas of interest in which Poland operates, I think it is quite common sensical for them to select this platform for needs
Were going to deliver both to the Swedish customer and the Polish customer on time, as promised and as committed.

There are currently two Swedish A26 Blekinge-class submarines under production at Saab Kockums, It was announced in mid-October 2025 that Saab is set to deliver them in 2031 and 2033, following a contract renegotiation with FMV.
The Blekinge-class is a 65m long modern submarine with a surfaced displacement of 2,000 tonnes. Equipped with a Stirling AIP, it can dive for more than 18 days. Its standard complement consists in 26 sailors. The class can accommodate up to 35 sailors (commandos and passenger included).
