I found a little packet of heirloom, organic Lemon Cucumbers seeds down in Amish Country this year. I planted them in 5 gallon buckets and a raised bed in my container garden.
The lemon cucumber growth was amazing! I had blossoms everywhere and 14 foot vines filled with lemon cukes. When you cut them early, the seeds are more delicate. If you let them grow to full maturity when they look really yellow and lemon like, you'll have more seeds. People like them because the skins tend not to be as bitter as regular cucumbers can be.
I grow them to juice them and they are the perfect size to throw in my Omega Megamouth juicer without cutting them.
